I didn't want to relax but I ended up doing it anyway because I had no idea how to take care of my hair and could just imagine the amount of teasing I'd endure at school the next day.

Well... this is my 2nd attempt.
I ended up relaxing @ 10.5 months post the first time, and this time I'm currently just over 10 months post... AGAIN!
So far, its going well but I just wish that I had stuck to it the first time as I would have been almost 21 months post by now.

I was frustrated and tired. Now this time will be different... I hope.

For anyone who has ever transitioned or is transitioning, how many times have you done it before(including the current transition if you are currently doing so)?
For me, its been two, and I hated doing it!
The first two times, I simply had no clue how to style my hair, I was still thinking that it should be straight for special occasions and so I relaxed *sigh*. Last time round, I was more determined and wore my hair in canerows and learned how to braid my own hair in extensions... the rest is history

WOW! how did you cope!4x that I can remember for sure. Everytime I transition, after I am natural I always end up relaxing my hair. I am natural now and hopefully I wont trasition again.
