So I know most of us has experienced this many times, but it doesn't make it any less annoying ... ITA I haven't had the misfortune/fortune of being "weave-checked" but the whole touching thing would never become okay, no matter how many times it happened...

This wknd was chock full of ppl touching my hair, asking me what kind of hair that was in my head, and literally talking behind my back saying how I wish that was my real hair!

Not to offend anyone but I don't understand our community sometimes and their ignorance. I think a lot of the stereotypes about black women and our hair that other ehtnicities may have are perpetuated by our communnity and it's very unfortunate. I keed, I keed Most people assume my hair is a weave. I used to be very about it, until I once saw a picture of me my friend had taken from the side and my hair was this huge, wiggy looking thing and I was like it does look like a weave! I guess I'm just too fabulous to be real
