you know what? i think she has had that short look for a long time and was hiding it behind the wigs and LF's. she just decided to air the scalp.

has anyone ever seen her in a snatched-back pony tail look EVER?

I think the woman is beautiful and there is nothing wrong with her hair...

That outfit is not cute imo. The pictures are not flattering. The fact that she has no make up or accesories on doesn't help. I say that without malice.

With that said... people feel free to criticize celebrities because they put themselves out there. They should always look perfect.

This isn't true for me, but that's the mentality I see about celebs.

I don't exactly feel bad for them since 99% made the choice to go into showbiz. I don't pay too much attention to them or care too much about them.

but even I'm not above a little small talk sometimes. :)

I was a little surprised at the amount of people who seem to be against short, kinky hair though. I don't see this response with short, straight hair (sorry, had to say it) Just funny.

Does long hair really make a woman? I think it enhances a woman's beauty, but it doesn't MAKE her beautiful. Plenty pretty women out there with short hair. :)
 
honestly i hope ppl tell me the truth, i would love for someone to tell me, "ur bc looks like a hot mess". if it did id like to know. i know on the board its always "u look fab" regardless of the hair or conditioner its in. but if i ever make a hair thread. feel free to tell me how craptacular i look if i do lol.
 
oh wow! go, Solange! I'm a stan, so, even though it doesn't look that cute, she can rock it.

ETA: I just went back and read some of the comments. I just want to clarify that I actually think Solange is a pretty woman & her BC is hott, IMO. I just don't like the picture in general.

Maybe it was the way she brushed back her hair. Or the weird glasses/weird dress combo. I don't know. And for the ladies that keep saying that if she were a regular member here people wouldn't be so cruel ... I would never say "you look hawt!" if somebody posted a picture like this here. I wouldn't say anything at all. I'd shut off my monitor and slowly do the moonwalk away from the laptop LOL

Oh and I first thought she was Kanye West LOL j/k

I'm surprised that she's received much more criticism on the hair board than she did on the ent. forum where people go hard 24/7.

Although I preferred her pregnancy TWA pics, BC'ing to a twa is about much more than having a cute style imo. It takes guts to chop and to wear it outside confidently is almost another battle in itself. In twa BC threads, when I say congrats it's about recognising that they have the courage to do what many women are very afraid to do. How cute their hair they may be is secondary, imo.

Sure, she could have moisturized it, brushed it, put alittle effort into it (it's already low maintenance), but there's nothing unusual about her hair. Although I have to say that when you're in the spotlight (showbiz), you have to walk out the door on point ALL THE TIME or you WILL get talked about, whatever the rush. You ain't a mother in Sheboygan WI rushing out the door. You're a star with a superstar sister. That comes with the territory. She knew that from the get up, so don't post long messages about how you don't care b/c if you didn't, you wouldn't have responded. Accept it and move on. If you gone do you, then do it, don't explain it. Otherwise, I still say "Go Solange!"

I think her hair looks ok. I would like to see her face and a differnt outfit and accessories. I think she would cute if she had just took the time to get ready and I agree she is gonna be fierce when it grows out.

I think she is very pretty and is going to looks great with her natural hair and is going to look FIERCE when it grows out.

She has the face to carry it off. She always dressed quirky so no surprise there.
