I was looking at the new pictures Solange took for Madewell. I love her hair. I also saw a picture of her from last year, there's a huge difference. Can you please tell me how she achieved this look?

But is there a way to achieve this look without a wig/weave?

A bantu knot out (done on blow out hair or not) with a very great defining gel with long lasting hold, in case you have 4b hair(no curls) like the picture.

Also, for expecting that thickness, you have to have it initially or course(which is not my case.:nono: )

I am sure it is a weave also. I just found this picture of her from last June and she looked like this...

But do you think a person with natural hair can get the second hair style by maybe blow drying then a braid out?

You can get it with a braid or twist out, braid-n-curl or twist-n-curl, flat twist out, braided bantu-knot out, straw set, etc. You can set your hair wet or dry, with gel or cream, depending on the amount of definition you would like. For more definition, set on wet hair; for a more elongated curl, set your hair while damp or dry. Hope that helps!
