Hit:

Cantu's Break Cure. I love this stuff. It has a nice consistency, almost like Curly Pudding but not as thick. I use it as a sealer and it spreads well.

Misses-
Jessicurl Hair Cleansing Cream
Giovanni SAS Deep Moisture Shampoo
Curl Junkie Hibiscus & Banana Deep Fix

^^^ Tiffers what was wrong with the Giovanni poo??? I have some but I haven't used it yet.

My hair has a mind of its own now that I am transitioning. EVERYTHING that I used to love is now becoming a miss.

Misses:
ORS Pak
NTM deep moisturizing hair treatment (the new one)
Aubrey Organics Honey Suckle Rose Poo and Con. OMG!! This crap just sat on my head. TOO much protein. Even my NG hated it.
Aubrey Organics Swimmers Line. OMG. It stripped my hair, but coated it, and it made it soooo hard.
Nexxus Emergencee, I have never went into protein overload with this stuff and now that I am 9 months post, my hair hated it!

Hits:
Cantu Shea butter leave in- jury is still out
Hot oil treatment with EVOO
Queen Helene Cholesterol as a DC, Love it. I can't believe it seeing how the ingredients are so bad.
Cowashing with my VO5 and EVOO
Trader Joes Nourish Spa Condish
Vatika Oil
Wow, sounds like you might have cone overload or product build up and might need to clarify your hair, then try using those products again. I know that I usually alternate my products to prevent my hair growing too accustomed to the same thing over and over. The results from a good product would definitely change over time (lose it's efficacy) if we don't switch them up a bit and/or clarify our hair at least once every 3-4 weeks depending on how much products we are using on the hair on a daily basis.

Wow, I finally have a MISS:

David Babaii Amplifying Conditioner - it smelled like those old paraben-loaded FLEX conditioners my mom used to buy for my sister and I when we were kids. YUCK! I cowashed my henna out with the whole bottle just to use it all up. I followed it up with some v05 though to get rid of that scent.

What!, this is a huge hit for me. I dunno, but my hair holds moisture wayyy better when I do these and the shine is awesome too.

Yes the shine was nice but my hair coiled all the way up to my scalp and got crunchy. And the cold shower was not cute:look::lachen:.

I have another MISS:

Silk Essential Curl defining Mousse - this left nasty flakes all through my hair. I had to go and wash it out immediatley after seeing it.

Continued hits:

Qhemet Burdock Root Cream
KBB Hair Milk
Hairveda Sitrinillah
Joico Moisture Recovery/Body Luxe combo
WEN Fig

Hit

Perfect Results Triple Silk Deep Penetrating Conditioner (better than my staple CB Smoothe Triple Silk imo)

Thank you

I didn't try these ALL in the last month. I have done a clarify after every set
(the AO set, The NTM, and The Emergencee) and it just didn't work.

I usually clarify once a month, because I don't use too much cones. I think since I have stopped relaxing, my hair doesn't need as much protein now and has become more sensitive to it.

I actually tried the Aubrey twice and it felt worst the second time. This is by far the worst product I have ever put in my head. I used to use ORS and Emergencee frequently (ORS once every two weeks and Emergencee every 6 weeks) and it worked, but now that I am almost 10 months post, it just doesn't.

Still Hittin' :yep:

Mizani Thermasmooth
keeping my ng in check and the rest of my hair nice and smooth. I love it. I want to try the shampoo, too.

Alter Ego Garlic Treatment
I had some minor shedding and this knocked it right out as usual. I am definitely going to continue using this at every other wash. It's moisturizing and detangling, as well.

PM The Conditioner
Excellent leave in, so moisturizing

Hydratherma Naturals
Still loving the oil, growth lotion, and protein balance leave in. :lick:

Hit--Flexirods. I used the smallest size on the ends of my twists and I loved it. I plan to use the jumbo ones on dry hair at some point.

Continued hit: coconut oil before and after washing. Castor oil on my ends.

New hits:
Bentonite clay...soft, smooth, light, clean hair. The only scary thing was that my hair was looser when I rinsed. But it snapped right back after I conditioned.

AO White Camellia...just wow. NOW I know what dc'd hair is supposed to feel like. I think using it right after the bentonite made it so amazing and I hope it's the same even without the bentonite first.

Hit: Using Oyin burnt sugar followed up with Shine and define or KBB hair cream followed up with a milk or nectar for twistouts and braidouts
KBB herbal shampoo and deep conditioner

Miss: None thank goodness.
