Fifteen months is A LONG time! I'm sure your hair would look gorgeous if you did. But stick with your transition in the long run, if that's what you wanted to do originally. I know there must be ways for you to spice it up a bit.

He was a mess. I wish I'd taken pictures of his face. He was against it at first, then I assaulted him with natural hair porn and he warmed up to it. He's been complimenting me ever since I've gotten back from the shop, so I'm pleased.

Its "BC Season" lol. Every year around this time we get choppers. I think it has to do with the warm weather and the ease and convienence that comes with working with and learning about your natural hair in spring and summer months vs the colder late fall and winter months.

How long did you wait after your last relaxer to cut?I want to take these braids down and cut so very badly!!!!I'm slowly but surely starting to replace my stash with more products that my natural texture loves versus my "relaxed products."

I was maybe only 14-15 weeks post and I wasn't having any trouble
with my two textures. In between a weave and braids, I hope not. But I know how you feel, I was tired of my braids too! I would take out some in the back so no one would notice the loose hair.

I cleaned out my stash a few nights before. It's so nice, not having a million products cluttering up my space. And now that I can co wash daily, I can use up some of my conditioners.
