I am going natural soon and found a couple of curls amongst the breakage at the front of my hair, they are so pretty, i'm so excited about the transition. However this is not my first time and i am already thinking about my new regimen, to help i want to work out my hair type.

Can you help me the top of my hair has little curl pattern and you can see the sides in the attached image. Without good hair care i can get my hair to apl. The picture has short natural hair because iits from my last transition when i failed due to dye abuse, I think my hair is a little bit damaged in the picture.

Thanks in advance. I mean 3c not 3a in the poll, tut tut sigh

I can't help you with the hair type but your skin is flawless!

I really can't tell unfortunately. I'm thinking after a few more inches we can have a better idea :)

oh know, i wanted to know before i big chopped again, i am a bit scared of making a mistake, by doing it too early

Well, if i had to guess i'd say maybe 3c or 4a but again, i really can't see that well based on the picture :)

I'm no hair typing expert but in order to know your true hair texture I think the hair has to be without product. It looks like there may be some product in your hair in the pic.

Sorry, I'm lost when it comes to hair types, but whatever it is it's very pretty!

It is hard to tell from your photo, I think of 3C as having coils about the size of a pencil, that may elongate with weight or product into waves.

Type 4A hair has an “S” pattern to it, while type 4B/C hair is more wiry with a zig-zag pattern.

It's very pretty!

i have tiny coils at the sides and waves in the middle, maybe 4a is the safest bet.

it looks 4asih but i can't really tell because it looks like u have products in it and its been manipulated.

No it does not have more than some moisturiser but the hair was slightly damaged from hair dye, which could count as manipulation. hmmm i don't have a picture of my hair healthy from my last transition. I may have to wait a few more months.

thank you!

God blessed me in that department. I do have sensitive skin so I use very little products on it.

I would guess somewhere in the 3 range. I don't know the exact differences between the categories.

You're a 4a. But, it really doesn't matter. You can use any tips from anyone at your length.
