It's all TT's fault. I saw her hair all beautiful in those meet up pics and got jelly.. (yeah I admitted it). I have been wearing this ugly bun since God knows when. I wanted to feel pretty again..:lachen:So yesterday morning...

I didn't have time to try to rollerset (yall know my experiences with that).. so I figured why not. I washed with Kerastase Bain 3.. conditioned/DC'ed with Elucence's Moisture Balancing Con and Hydrathermal Naturals Moisture Boosting Con (mixed together) under the dryer for 15 mins at whatever the max is on my dryer..:lachen:

Rinsed, added my leave ins.. got back under the dryer for 10 mins.. it felt about 90% dry. Used my FHI's on the hottest setting. But truth be told by the time I got to the top to flat iron.. it was probably almost already dry. But umm.. I will never blow dry again (at home). Get almost the same results with less manipulation...also.. it was not as silky as the salon. My stylist gets it like silk; but she also presses it and flat irons it. But still very nice for a home 'do.

Here's a pic.

I thought they reported that this techq was causing breakage.

Best flat ironing job I've seen yet!

And I say that because I love all the little curls you did with it. They are so cute.

You know I laughed right. Thanks sissy boo! :kiss:

I love your results. It's simply beautiful. Excellent job.

Awww thanks ladies! :grouphug3:

I will try not to make a habit of it.. I have been really trying to reduce the amount of direct heat.. but I figure if I take out the blow drying step.. that's_almost_as_good. And I try to DC every time I use heat. I always curl the top with the irons because I'm letting my layers grow out and a straight iron leaves it looking like NOTHING the next day.

But I'm sure this can work for a lot of relaxed heads. And will say that my hair didn't sizzle at all.. :lachen:.. That's why I thought it was just about dry.

As soon as I read the title I thought to myself, "...and you loved it didn't you?"... :giggle: Isn't it the easiest thing? I haven't used my blowdrier in I don't know how long. I'm about ready to give it away :yep:

I know..:lachen:... you should've. It's all your fault. :lachen::lachen:

I_am_still_not_giving_up_the_salon.. but wondering where I can get a pressing comb. :lachen:

Right.. I'm glad because my PJ self was about to buy an FHI one for $150. Umm now I won't be needing that. I only have a cheapie "Jilbere" one now because I don't know how to use the "gun" style ones.. only the "hatchets" (ones that look like combs).. I know..mild retardation.. but at least now I don't have to worry about it.

Wow! Your hair is beautiful! So thick and full.

I'm so scared to try it, but I guess I must, since y'all are getting such good results.
