I keep my regimen simple..

I condition wash daily with Vo5 or Giovanni Smooth As Silk Deep Conditioner, and I put Suave Humetacant and/or Aubery Orangics HoneySuckle Rose as a heavy leave-in, to prevent frizz and set curls. Thats It. Pretty much do that daily. I detangle while in shower with a wide tooth comb and deep condition from time to time with Aubrey Orangics HoneySuckle Rose.

I do distilled water and apple cidar viniger rinse from time to time to prevent build up and keep my scalp happy.

What did you use to texlax? How long did you leave it on?

Thank you simple reggies work for me.

I had my hair texlaxed at the salon with Mizani. I coated my hole head with pure shea butter to protect from over relaxing and went to the salon and had my stylist quickly put the relaxer in and then rinsed quickly after the hole thing was covered (total of no more than 10mins for a full natural head of hair). Its now been six months since I did that texlax and im gonna see how far i can go before i get another...scared to mess up a good thing

Thanks, I was natural for a while did a big chop in April 08. My top pic is from one month after that and its natural. I stayed that way till Nov 08 then did a texlax...which gives me a more consistent texture (i was born with confused hair texture ) I'm working with some of everthing. Natural- crown is a 3a back is 3c front by forehead is 4a. But im working it out ...my momma did a number on my wig when i was younger though not pretty...will never show the pics
