I slept in some Ghee last night, and by the way the smell didn't bother me or hubby. But anyway, when I rinsed it out of my hair today, I was really amazed at the softness. "THANK YOU D LEWIS FOR POSTING ABOUT GHEE". I will keep this in my rotation.

Did you just put the Ghee on dry hair and slept overnight and then washed out? Also, where did you purchase your Ghee?

I also use ghee and Wen. Today I washed and airdried using only Wen products. After my hair was dry I rolled using my steam curlers. At night, I applied Ghee to the ends of my hair to help retain the moisture then pin curled hair before bed. In the morning my ends will be soft. I purchased my ghee at a Indian Grocer.

I thought Wen was all you needed. Are you still using it?

Yep I'm still using WEN, as a matter of fact, I just ordered Sweet Almond, and Aloe. I don't co-wash with Ghee, I just sleep in it:spinning: and wash it out the next morning. I purchased my Ghee from the health food store.

You are welcome. I used it for the first time in my daughters hair sunday (as a hot oil treatment) and it left it moisturized and very soft. I have not had to add anything to her hair since.

I'm IN LOVE with my ghee! I sleep it in twice a week overnight and CW the next day! My hair has never been softer... more moisturized, it's really a hair changer (for the BETTER!) It actually MOISTURIZES... my 4a/3c curls are actually DEFINED... I finally did a wash and go last week and I got nothing BUT compliments... THANKS DLEWIS!

how much did you guys pay for your ghee? I saw some at the store but didn't know if it was a good price.

Hm.. I don't remember.. I think maybe $7-$12? I'm not sure but I just finished my first jar last night so I'm gonna have to go back I can tell you the price of mine when I go.

I have some Ghee and it made my hair soft but, I don't care for the smell so next time I'll add some fragrance to it.
