MY HAIR IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!

This is a very good approach to take!:yep: Different product/chemicals/ingredients react differently in different individuals and some people have sensitivities that others don't. That being said I think that everyone should take all hair information with a grain of salt.:lachen:

Girl I couldn't help myself, I know that was corny, but you know the pregnancy hormones make me corny sometimes.:spinning:

*crackin up*

You ain't never lied, Starr. :lachen:

I'm sure there are other places but thats where I always get mine

I used to love love love the butter, but I got a waxy batch , several tubs of that crap , only getting used as lip butter

now I just stick with the oil and it never ever fails me!
Why am I all up on the sit ready to order?:ohwell: Do you use the regular oil or the Organic?

my hair smells good from that Aveda!!!!! :lick:

I'm just sitting here messin with my slightly damp , mostly dry now, totally moisturized soft hair and loving it!

WOOOOW its feels great ya'll!

:bouncy::rocker:

I just rinsed and it felt like LOVE! :yahoo:

After the all night all day Aveda/Avocado oil combo , my hair just rinsed like butter! :woot:

I rinsed and rinsed and rinsed to be sure the wonderful softness and pliability and 'butter' feeling wasnt going to rinse down the drain, and it didnt! :yahoo:

my hair is as soft as I can ever remember even pre-salt! Yup , thats right, its softer than even before! :woot:

yall dont EVEN know how happy I AM right now! if you were all here with me I be going around hugging you all! :bighug:

i'm friggin giddy happy right now, I was really worried for a minute there ya'll. my hair is like amazing butta right now :yahoo:

alll my moisture is back and then some :woot:

Thank you to all you wonderful ladies that sat through my panic attack with me,:freakout: and offered all your support and help! Thank you thank you thank you!

I dont even feel I need to do anything else, now I dont have to run to the store and get Avocados unless I wanna eat them :lick:

But what I am going to do is another night of Conditioner and oil just to double up

Elucence again and Macadamia nut!
Good job!!
I am actually trying to get my hair in order now...I hope all is well with me. I will NEVER jump on another bandwagon. NEVER.

They have two: Avocado oil and Organtic avocado oil. The Organtic cost more of course.:yep:

:yahoo:

oh ok, well I'm probably not ordering organic cause I just click on the oils and order, the one that isnt works great! But yeah I suppose Organic is probably better, but I bet its lighter, I found that with Coconut Oil, I guess I will try it with my next order, but I dont think you can go wrong with just the regular oil either, I never have

you got any natural oils there? what conditioners?
Well I pre pooed with castor oil and coconut oil
and then I washed with Aveda's brilliant shampoo and let it sit for a while
...I am attempting to deep condition with a Avalon conditioner since I don't have the beloved Honeysuckle Rose Conditioner:sad: and I sealed with the Honey and Olive Hydrating Balm...how long do you think I should deep condition, should I deep condition twice :perplexed
I really want to thank you for bringing this issue to my attention, I wouldn't have noticed until it was much toooo late.

well I say pick your favorite conditioner and your favorite natural oil and put it all heavily in your hair and leave it in a good 12 hours and watch your hair turn around and then if you feel it still needs more, just keep doing it:yep:

Eta make sure your conditioner of choice is mostly moisture and not a protein one

Thanks. Oh, I found the same thing to be true with coconut oil. But if the reg works like a charm, then so it shall be. Thanks :yahoo:

I am glad your hair is back, Iris. Avocado oil is the truth :) Well, next time you want to experiment on something new, just use it on a single strand, and you'll be fine. When you have a chance, try the mix of avocado and Wheat germ oil for moisture, an algerian girl gave the recipe to me years ago, I am still in love ... :)...Definetely a long term relationship... my longest a this point ...Love is in the air ;)

I will make sure to keep you posted. I am just dissappointed in myself:sad:. Usually I research for months before doing a new bandwagon or even try a new product. But I guess I am only human. I guess I will put some more coconut oil in my hair with this conditioner.

well many ladies were and are loving it, but I am like you too, so girl I am sitting here human with you! Everybody knows its just not like me to go experimenting, but you know, some things just sound really good, we are allowed to be human girl, for many this is working out great though, we just werent one of those, plus you left it in overnight :nono: , but its ok mama, might just take you a little more time but YOU can and will get your moisture back :yep:

Coconut oil would be just fine , just leave it in at least overnight, as long as possible :yep:

I'm glad your hair is back to normal. :hug2: That is one band wagon I will NOT be jumping on. :nono:

:lachen: yeah I hear you on that! I still dont get it , the good parts of this and what it did or why, I still dont get any of it really

it did have a good side! dont get me wrong! just not for me to have clarified hair thats all:wallbash:

I think I tried it more because its a known water softener and I have hard water, and actually I think it might have been a benefit to my hair in the final outcome-doesnt mean I would risk that outcome changing again tho

I'm glad everything turned out alright! I still might try the salt thing, but I'm not really in an experimenting mood right now. Nice to see how it affects different people though.
