These women must sleep and bathe in olive oil, their skin is so luscious! Black don't eva crack if it is maintained properly!

I'm 26 with a definite gray streak in the front that I color now, but when i'm older i will rock my gray hair in a nice long braid.

I would be happy if my hair grayed like the woman in the first pic, but time will tell. If my gray looked like that, I wouldn't dye it.

I love love all of the pics in this thread. It looks like Essence Magazine's yearly spread where they showcase ladies that are aging gracefully. I won't mind any gray after 50 but my grandmother, aunts, and mother have little gray themselves so I doubt I'll have that much either.

To me, 50 isn't that old (I'm 29). I'm pretty sure that I won't have grey hair at that age, God willing. People in my family don't really grey. My dad is almost 70, no grey. My mom in her mid 60's, maybe 6 grey hairs. My grandparents lived into their late 70's and 80's with minimal greying. So I'm optimistic. The biggest thing I worry about is thinning.

Yeah confidence is key!!!

I was MBL or longer my entire childhood and I begged
my mother to let me cut it to shoulder length at 13...
it's never grown back... I'm 25 now...

knowing myself... I'll probably go super short when I get
older because by then I would have had long hair for a couple
of decades...

I'm laughing at your comment about rubbing your body down with olive oil to keep the skin soft and supple; cause that's exactly what I did 20 years ago when I was pregnant with my first child. I rubbed my stomach with olive oil weekly during my last tri-mester, and I didn't get one stretch mark!!!! Now that I'm 50+ I wish I had put a little olive oil in my hair back then, too, but unfortunately there weren't any hair boards, and nobody knew or talked about the great benefits of olive oil for hair. After being on this hair journey for almost a year tho, I can say I'm loving my hair just as much at this age, as I did when I was in my 20's. I don't have much gray, but henna and indigo are helping me to tone down those garish grays to a beautiful coppery brown color. Almost one year later, my hair is in much better condition than it was last year. I am so happy I found this site-the information and knowledge that is shared here is so helpful. So, yes, my chronological age dictates that I'm an official member of the' mature ladies' club, but I'm still having fun with life and my hair!!!

Check out how much fun I had about a week ago!
