I love the Luscious Locks Moisturizing Hair Mask! I don't know about the $25 tag but it has great ingredients and works excellent on my hair!! It does just what it says: softens, detangles, strengthens.

Ingredients:

Purified Water, Aloe Butter, Jojoba Oil, Agave, Vegetable Wax, Vegetable Glycerin, Aloe Vera Juice, Panthenol, Arnica Flowers, Calendula Flowers, Echinacea, Nettle, Horsetail, Liquid Silk Protein, Carrot Seed Oil, Rosemary Essential Oil, Arnica, Shikakai & Amla Herbs, Vitamin E & Natural Enzymes

I also use the Hair Butter. Great moisturizer! Don't even get me started on the great flavors!!! :lick:

So I stopped off today at Karen's got the hibiscus hair cream and the hair milk. I have not tried the yet. I have to admit Im already disappointed in the hair cream.First of all its to small. Before I got home this afternoon it melted into an perfumy oily concoction . Then I realized it the same hair cream I make myself for my hair, except for the scent and I use glycerine to preserve it so it won't melt. Im going to try the hair milk. I hope it does not disappoint.

Did you ever try the hair milk?

Did you ever try the hair milk?

Yes I have tried it. Its OK not great cannot replace Salerm21 . I feel she uses too much perfum in her stuff. Im now using it as part of my spray mist mix for my twists.

Im very sorry to report I will never buy her stuff again. I wanted to support a sista. But Im sorry its not best for me. Everytime I use the items my eyes burn.

Gosh i hate when that Happens! Smell So Good but once it Hits your Eyes it Burns like...you know the word. Im sorry they did not work well for you.

I tried the hair milk and oh boy!!! It seems to help with retaining moisture on damp hair but the smell is over powering. I don't think I can deal with so much fragrance in my hair products. I have some hair cream (whipped) and hair butter that I will try later this week but so far the products are to strong for my taste (and that of DH).

You can get them unscented. I get mine unscented bc the fragrance oil irritates my scalp.

That's a great option. I smell like I doused myself in perfume....and it's all coming from my hair with only about a half dollar sized amount of hair milk on my whole head.

Is the hair milk oily? What fragrance did you get?

The only scent that I wasn't THAT fond of was vanilla latte. Oh, btw her site is now fixed for anyone that was having trouble, Karen wanted me to tell everyone.

But yep! I lurve egyptian musk. I made a little cap out of the crotch from an old pair on pantyhose, and when I picked it up yesterday my fiance thought it was panties or something lol. I picked it up and sniffed it, and was like no, this is for my hair. Egyptian musk was all up in them fibers! :lachen:

My face was like :perplexed when I first saw crotch, but figured I had to keep reading :lachen::lachen:He was probably wondering why you were smelling your "drawls" LMAO. Anyhoo, I'm the same way w/the scents. I like kinda earthy almost masculine scents anyway though, I expected the latte to smell a lil different. Not so sweet.

Is the hair milk oily? What fragrance did you get?

I'll answer my own question... the hair milk is a far cry from oily !
It's a great light leave in also. I use it mainly for my edges. I bought the matching oil so that I can mix it with the hair milk to give me some shine, and also simply b/c I love the smell of the Luscious Pear :yep:

I use her hair milks (coco mango & pomegranate guava) and the hair mask. I  the hair milks but the hair mask not so much, it didn't do anything special for my 4a/b natural hair. But maybe it's my fault, b/c most ppl that used the mask said that you didn't need to add anything else to it...I added wheat germ oil to it for some reason.
