What do you have planned this weekend?

I washed last night so I will wash again on Sunday. I think I am going to do a cellophane rinse (haven't decided what color just yet) and do a mild protein treatment. Maybe, depending on how brave I am feeling, I will use my flexi rods.

You?

I'm going to deep condition, rollerset and wrap my hair on Sunday.

I'm thinking about a ghee treatment.

Wash, protein with generic K-pak (I sort of heat damaged my hair) and condition on Sunday. I've been wanting to color my hair, but I will probably wait to see if my hair makes a turn around.

Between then I'm going to attempt a frohawk but I don't see it being wearable in public.

Hi Ladies,

I am going to pre-poo, wash and deep condition. Rollerset and then try the saran wrap method for the first time. hehehe hope it turns out well!!!

Im going to do my hair this afternoon so that it'll look nice for the weekend.
( in fact I am pre-pooing as I type!)

I've applied some MT earlier and will co-wash later. On Sunday I will pre poo with some Amla and Vitaki oil, then early Monday morning I will do a tea rinse, deep condition with moisture and then rollerset under the dryer.

I feel tired just thinking about it!

Are you going to do your protein treatment before or after your rinse?

Wash and condition, with my Elucence shampoo and Kenra Conditioners.

Deep condition, 20 minutes under Pibbs.

Rollerset.

Still trying to decide if I want to wrap it from there, or blow out the curls a bit. Probably wrap. :scratchch

DC under the dryer and maybe whip out the curlformers....I've been in braids most of the summer so I haven't seen my hair much.

Going to add some leche de coco to my SitriNillah conditioner and see how that works. Wash, DC and airdry. I'm going for a 40's-inspired look on Sunday, but I want my do to be curly/wavy.

CW and DCing dd's hair and twisting.

ETA: after looking at a thread on flexi rods, maybe I'll revisit these this weekend. Haven't used them in damn near 10 years!

Nada...:( I have a test on Monday, so I'll be studying. Most I'll do is moisturize with QB Burdock Root Butter, seal with either EVCO or Lisa's Hair Elixir, and re-braid (wearing a braid out now). Monday after the test, I have a date with my Sitrinillah Masque (hope it'll arrive by then). :lick:

I am going to try to figure out how to use this Kenra conditioner. I dont think I am using it right, but....

I used it for the first time last week. It really made my hair shiny and defined my curls but my hair did not feel moisturized enough for my taste.

I'm going to deep condition and try flat ironing my hair while it's damp. I'm a little scurred:eek2::look:

I washed, dc'd and did a rollerset. I'm going out tonight so I've been trying to learn how to do a french roll for an elegant updo. However, its not working out. So when I get home from work I'll pincurl my hair and just wear it loose. We'll see.

Nothing special...

  • Co-Wash w/V05 conditioner
  • DIY Steaming w/ORS Replenishing Conditioner
  • Roller set on large rollers

Wash again this weekend at some point - maybe saturday.... Nice loooooong deep condition w/ my Giovanni - due for one this week... Then likely either rollerset or braidout or flat iron depending on how lazy I'm feeling.

i got a relaxer last weekend, although my 11 month ng was still curly i think she overlapped. my hair still looks really good but its been shedding alot so this weekend i am going to pre poo with a mix of sitrinilla, vatiks oil and honey. then im going to was with a neutralizing shampoo then wash with aphogee shampoo and then leave aphogee 2 minute conditioner on for 5 minutes. then im not sure if i want to flat iron or go back to wet bunning. its been getting cooler and my throat is a litle soar so i might flat iron and wear a bun all week.
