It sounds like a good challenge but rule #2 requires that you book an appointment for a professional trim. That should be optional in case a person already has healthy ends or recently trimmed.

Good luck to all the challengers though!

I agree with the bolded. My ends are fine. No triim for me. :nono:

OOOOH I am in on this one. I want to really focus on a simple regimen oh and save me $$$$.

I won't be getting a professional trim, I will trim my own, can't stand to go to the salon.

I agree with both of you. I would join if it weren't for that little bit. I haven't had a trim since May and this is the longest I've gone without trimming while I'm still going to salons on occasion and styling my own hair, and my ends are fire! I wouldn't want to trim them for no reason...

Oh, and the other thing is that I wouldn't want to ONLY be deep conditioning along with my current regimen. I understand the purpose, but I don't think that's for me. I've been meaning to make a few changes to my regimen to get more into the stuff my hair seems to like, and if the challenge guidelines were for me to just add DCing to my current reggie, my hair and I wouldn't be able to get into all the fun stuff we've had planned!

I think I'll lurk on this challenge, I don't want to get the professional trim. I am already doing all the other things, and I should start keeping a hair journal so I think I'll start doing that with pictures, etc. I did a DC Sunday night with a hot wet towel under my space bonnet dryer and it was quiet enjoyable to just sit down for 1 hour straight and Chill-ax.:yep: I think I'll make it a habit once per week.

I already do this stuff, so there is no extra motivation for me
