I do them once a month. Im kind of thinking about extending it. What about you?

I think once a month is too often...at least for me. I like "not knowing" and then being surprised when I see it. I take photos every three months at the most often. Just long enough for me to see a difference without agonizing over whether or not I got exactly 1.5 inches.

I do mine every 6 months to a year now. When I first started I did comparisons every month or two and I got depressed because their wasn't much to compare. So now I try to wait a significant amount of time to really see a difference. I believe in the saying, "A watched pot never boils." :yep:

I agree with the both of you. Thats why im thinking about extending it. But, I only watch my pot boil once a month :look: (:lachen:)

i did one from march to june and it was really awesome...then i stopped flat ironing...so next one will be aug 13th, a month into megatek and right on time for my august fotki updates.

Before I whacked off some inches, I took shots every two months. Since I've cut my hair, my last comparison shot was taken after four months.

I do mine every month. I'm still new to this so I want to make sure that all the new things I'm trying aren't damaging my ends and costing me growth.

^^^^same here :yep: my natural hair shrinks up so much that I rarely see any difference on a month to month basis so I've decided to take pics maybe once or twice a year so I can be surprised... that's why I haven't updated my fotki in such a long time. :look:

Initially, I was taking pics whenever I did something to my hair (almost weekly), but now, I've decided I will only take pics on relax day/week...unless it's a special occasion.

I do mine once a month; for me, it's a motivator to stay on top of my regimen, knowing that I'll be updating soon and don't want to cause any embarrassing damage.

About every three months, or so. It's pretty pointless to do it any sooner, as you can't see a difference, really.

I only do comparisons when I see a big difference, so it's usually every 3 months or so.

I'm going to start doing mine every 2 months until the end of this year. Next year I might wait a little longer. I just like taking pictures:grin:

In my experience think waiting at least 3 months you can really see progress. Then once I see the progress I don't get discouraged.
