How often do you do comparison shots?

I take pics quite often (when I change up my style or have a good hair day), but like for like comparisons I usually do every 3-4 months - I wanna actually see a real difference!

I just took my first pikistip pics, but cant get it to link in my siggy! I tried but it kept saying Invalid. So I copied and saved it to my comp. and then copy and pasted it in my sig, but when I post it doesnt show. Sucks to be me! lol To answer the question, I plan on updating every 3 months.

ETA - I'm making progress, I changed my avi pic. Still cant get the siggy pic (pikistrips) to show.

When I did the BC in June I took shots every 2 months up until December. My next shots won't be until June, so that's going to be 6 month comparison.

I don't do comparison shots and I am not going to until my hair is on the right track. My hair last month was APL length, but I knew I had to cut because of split end that I was trying to hang on to. I went to my beautician 2 weeks ago and she had confirmed that I had split ends (which I already knew). I had her give me a mini cut.

On another note: I am more engaged with health and thickness than length, so comparison shots are not necessary for me.

I picked every 3 months plus because of lack of options but I have decided to wait a year.
I took some comparison shots after my BC but I have decided to hold off till my 1 year anniversary.
More frequent than that is really not necessary..at least for me.

right now i take pictures every month but will probably do 3 months comparison.

because im just starting and things are going well, im anxious to have a unpredicted setback without noticing, so i take regular pics to keep everything in check

Every relaxer. If I did it more often I would constantly be thinking about it and become discouraged. This way, I am only occupied by how much my hair has or hasn't retained every couple of months versus every week.
