The lighter your natural color is,the dryer it seems to be

I meant to say "drier." Spelled it wrong;sorry!
This what a hairdresser told me last week:yep:

Its not the first time i have heard it either.
I told her that i have a problem with my hair being dry all the time, and she said that its not dry,it just looks that way because of the color of it(my hair is very sandy brown)

She asked me if it was colored when she started on it,and this is what she told me when i let her know it was my natural color.
She said that she could put a rinse in it that is the exact color of my hair, but it would up the sheen, and the feel of it.
I dunno...
Anyone believe this?

Yes, I have been told this a lot before by several stylists, don't know if it is true, so I have a medium brown rinse in my hair, and my hair always looks shinier and healthier.

As a naturally sandy/dusty/dirty blonde head, I would agree with this statement. My dd's hair is also the same color. It does have a tendency to look dry. Especially around the edges (good grief). If your natural color is anything like mine, it's VERY hard to duplicate, I don't think anything in a bottle would ever do it justice so the best bet for shine would probably be a CLEAR rinse. You still get the benefits of a rinse but still have your natural color. **If you look in my Fotki and check my daughter's album, you'll see her hair color which is my natural color as well.**

Dusty checking in over here!!! The only thing that I know that has ever made my hair SHINE was jane carters nourish and shine. I dont do hair color (semi perm/perm) Im thinking about doing a rinse or I might just stick with the henna.

Another dishwater blonde checking in. I definitely depend on clear rinses and CHI Silk Infusion for shine.
