I can't imagine it being better than the All soft line and the Smooth Down Butter Treatment.![]()
Lilchocoma, how are you gonna drop in here make a statement like that, then dip?!?!You gotta give up the details ms thang.
I think Redken will be "my line" of products.
LOL...my fault!! My stylist went to a Redken event and had a sample. Since she knows I blog about this stuff she gave me one. She said the whole line is going to change our lives, and I think she may be right!!
LOL...well actually...I tried the whole line.I was trying to save the details until the post was up on my blog. I have devoted my life to Redken! I'm also excited about the Thermal Mist because I think it will really be an asset to those who use heat on the hair. It's a liquid mist so hair won't be as weighed down as usual using serums, creams, or whatever. I'd still use a serum with it, just not as much. Also, the Creama Care (Haven't used it yet) descriptions sounds like a mix between the Detangling Cream and Butter Treat!!!! Damn y'all, I'm trying to save some content for my blog!!!
Here are the descriptions...
Thermal Resist-Lightweight, leave-in spray repairs, detangles and refreshes heat-damaged hair. This versatile product can be used alone to soften coarse hair or layered with Crema Care to tame and provide intense volume down control. Hair looks and feels strong, healthy and revived.
Crema Care-Instant nourishing, leave-in treatment can be used daily to give superior discipline, control and manageability to the most hard to manage hair. It smoothes and repairs damaged areas of the cuticle while providing protection against heat-styling. The concentrated cream improves texture and glide, helping to prevent breakage and repair dry, split ends. Hair is strong, smooth and in control.
Masque-Ultra rich, decadent, conditioning cream deeply moisturizes, controls and repairs extremely dense, dry hair. It instantly detangles and drastically improves combability to help prevent breakage. It also delivers ultimate discipline and total texture transformation to the most difficult of hair.
Wow now i realy can't wait this sounds dreamyMy stylist went to a Redken event and had a sample. Since she knows I blog about this stuff she gave me one. She said the whole line is going to change our lives, and I think she may be right!!
Debbie downer here: why are all products targeted toward blacks Purple, who got together and decided that purple would be the black color? Anyway back to the regularly schedule program...I'm excited to see reviews.

Sounds good but will stay tempered until ingredients are posted.

Designed to help tame, smooth and pamper dense or unruly hair
According to what I've found on the net, they are not specifically marketed to aa's. They are for anyone whose hair would fit this description:
So, there is no link between the purple packaging being for blacks.![]()

Wow! I hope she is right![]()
I personally love the color purple for this reason and more.
The first time I looked at the products I thought why are Redken making products specifically for AA's now. They probably only tweaked a couple of ingredients to do this, like others.

good observation.Other things that are purple...I can't really think of other examples, hmmm the Queen line was purple and also geared toward black people, and dark and lovely is the same (though there are other black care lines that aren't purple). I just noticed a trend with the color, I'm sure there are others but they escape me. As for purple being the color of royalty sure it did use to be a color that was esteemed by the royal class but then they released it to the masses and the lower classes immediately took it in, so now in our time purple is a color that is associated with lower classes (well at least according to Paul Fussell the author of Class).
Its not a big deal, really just an observation, things being certain colors, or packaging doesn't stop me from buying them (exception maybe Dr. Miracle's products).
