What were your results? My hair feels dry!.....and my hair rarely gets dry. Maybe I left it on too long.

i have b4, but since i realized mayo works the same and doesnt have the possibility of cooking in your hair, i decided to EAT my eggs and when i want a light protein i do mayo with a molasses mix... this has worked better for me.

i dont remember my hair being overly dry after the eggs tho

I use eggs...I mix two beatin eggs in a moisturizing conditioner and apply to dry hair..I leave on about 15 minutes...wash then follow up with deep conditioning.....

Yes, I used egg in my detangling mix for 3 week straight. It has amazing slip, better than any product I've ever bought. I only stopped because people said it was too much protein, but I didn't notice any adverse effects. And it's really cheap. $2 for a 12 pack of eggs, I used 2 in each mixture, so it's a pretty cheap protein treatment. Unlike my Aveda. :( However, you have to be really careful to rinse it all out. don't use heat. Even without using heat, just my body heat + the time it takes to detangle made 1/2 cooked eggs bits. I could rinse almost all of it out, but there was always like 2 or 3 tiny egg pieces that I discovered later.

I'm going back to it once the Aveda Damage Remedy runs out. Heck, I might go back sooner because, like I said, great mixed with Neutrogena Hair Mask and coconut oil as a detangler. If I find it's making my hair hard, I'll come back to let you know but I think it's not that strong of a protein treatment.

I did egg and evoo pretreatments and I really liked them... I didn't use any kind of heat so I wasn't worried about the egg cooking. You have to follow up with a moisturizing deep condition though so maybe that explains the dryness.

.

I deep conditioned really well with Keracare Humecto. That's why I don't understand the dryness. Oh well, I'm gonna go slap some moisturizer on and maybe baggy.

See, I think that's where I might have went wrong. The first time I did it I mixed one egg in my deep con and applied it to dry hair, that worked out fine. This time I just did the egg, a little molasses and some evoo. I think I left it in an hour........probably shouldn't have left it that long.

I had such a runny puke looking mess. I spilled it all down my shirt and my comforter......just a mess:wallbash:.

I think it was too harsh of a protein treatment for my strands. I DCed with 2 eggs and washed it out and conditioned with Humecto....my hair was a tangles MESS!! I ended up haveing to use the Hydrating Poo to untangle it and condition it all over again!

Funny you should ask....last night I deep conditioned with 1 egg, evoo, honey, cinnamon and a abba moisturizing condish mixed together. There was more of the conditioner than anything else. THe consistency wasn't too runny. After I rinsed with luke warm water I added a different moisturizing conditioner let it sit for a moment and then rinsed with cold water. Eggs always seem to make my fragile, fine hair seem strong and shiny. They also make my curls pop when I'm trying to go back to curly from straight hair.:yep:
They never seem to give me too much protein.
