My hair feels dry and hard. I read you should use a protein con after you relax and the next time you wash. But I think my hair is too dry for protein. What should I do?

Don't put in a protein that is too heavy. Stay away from Aphogee Two Step, but you can definitely use the Aphogee Two Minute Renconstructor. For a deep conditioner try Alter Ego's Garlic Conditioner and leave it one for 30 minutes. But to solve your problem, use a MILD protein and a DEEP conditioner.

Sounds like you might need moisture. I just got a relaxer Saturday. I did a Joico K-Pak treatment 3 days prior, and just after relaxer, I did a moisturizing DC (SheScentIt Banana Brulee). This weekend, I'll do another moisturizing DC, especially after a no-lye relaxer as they are said to be more drying.

It definitely sounds like you need moisture. put a heavy moisture treatment in for about 30min. w/heat!

If you used a No-Lye use a Chelating shampoo then aphogee 2 minute and a heavy moisture treatment for minimum of 30minutes w/heat! (I'd use a self heating cap for about 1-2hours) Good luck!

I would go for a reconstructor such as Aphogee 2 min as someone else suggested. I've been using Kenra Nourishing Masque which is a combination of moisture and protein since I relaxed 3 weeks ago and my hair has never been more moisturized.

^^^AH man lol I wanted to try lye this time. I thought it was lye :(
Now I got to wait another 4 months to try lye again. No lye is very drying to me BTW smh

if your hair feels DRY and hard you should use a moisturizing deep conditioner. It'll soften your hair up instantly.

^^ I dont know if it was. It was mizani butter blends sensitive scalp formula

as you know that is no lye
and try and use something with ceramides too
try and buy matrix biolage cera repair hydratherapie tubes
or use a conditioner with ceramides like silicon mix or nexxus
or buy wheat germ oil

ceramides are important for people that use no lye relaxers
