Quick! Twistouts better on wet or towel dried hair?

Wet vs. dry twisting depends on the final look you want. I find that my hair hangs better in twists done on dry hair, while twists done on wet hair curl up more. So if you want your twistout to showcase more length, dry twisting would be best.

Wet hair and letting it dry definitely works better for me.

Yea i asked wet or dry because I figured i'd get more "hang time" with dry, btu I was wondering how easily it would twist and actually stay on dry hair...

Yea i asked wet or dry because I figured i'd get more "hang time" with dry, btu I was wondering how easily it would twist and actually stay on dry hair...

It stayed surprisingly well (and I have that kind of hair that is prone to unraveling). I just twisted and twirled the ends like normal (after air drying). There are pics of it in my fotki (winter 2007-08 folder) of both kinds of twisting.
