That's I was actually worried I would look like Cousin Itt from the Adam's Family but I guess I'm getting more about excited about getting to this length.

 @cousin Itt No not at all. I might go try on a wig for the hell of it this week to see how I would look.

Sounds fun. My sis and I did that before. It was cool experimenting. I dont even know where that wig is anymore. I should find it...it was human hair wig and expensive.....

I wore my weave at that length before I took it out to take care of my hair. Everyone thought it was my hair and I let them think it.:lachen: The only problem I had was sitting down because I forgot it was there and I would always end up jerking my neck back, but I loved it. Also, my beautician didn't cut it. When she sewed it in, it naturally layered itself.

I went to the site but I didn't see her meal plan???

Here's the thing, diets dont work because its hard to be consistent unless you are happy with what you are eating so eat what you love in a healthy way. If you feel guilty for putting it in your mouth, you probably shouldnt. Her tips have worked well for me. I dont follow a plan, I LOVE VARIETY and a balanced diet keeps your weight healthy. I workout and just started working at Bally's and they have great meal plans, here is one:

http://west.ballyfitness.com/rapid_results/weight_management/rr_mealplan/

To get her nutritional program is like $100 (sorry not interested) but here is what I get from her healthy eating tips:

  • Count calories and start eliminating the junk foods from your diet (for me this is fast foods (Mickies, BurgerKing, etc.) and most snacking foods)
  • Get in the habit of eating 5-7 meals per day, each meal containing a protein, carbs, and some fat and drinking one gallon of water per day (For the ladies that are bigger and whose bodies store fat easy, the more active you become, the more you'll want to eat. Do you not want to stop eating to lose weight. Carbs are not bad, they are actually needed for energy but be cautious of how much you take in. Protein builds muscle and fat is needed to keep the curves. Try to shot for a low body fat percentage instead of worrying about being smaller. Its less self defeating and makes for a better YOU).
  • Have only one cheat meal per week on the weekend (Its good to treat yourself, you dont always have to deny yourself. But even with this day, dont over do it)
  • Prepare your daily meal plans, buying and cooking food from scratch as much as possible, and weighing and measuring portions.
  • Begin limiting simple sugars to what is found in fruits and complex carbohydrates - no junk food sweets or candy.
  • Replace any full-fat dairy products with low-fat or fat-free versions.
  • Start increasing your fiber intake gradually, and aim for 35g per day.
  • Put in 1g - 1.25g of protein for every pound of bodyweight as a minimum.
  • Make sure to keep healthy fats in your diet as well. Keep about 20-30g of fat in your diet, and supplement with nuts or nut butters to ensure you're reaching those numbers.
  • If you are overly sensitive to carbs, you will probably want to keep this number equal with your protein intake.
  • If you are thin-framed, have a fast metabolism, and have a hard time putting on fat or muscle, you can stand to add more carbs in your diet.
Consistency is the key in any successful nutrition program.

I dont believe in tracking what you eat, I treat it like hair care, I just listen to my body. And with home cooked meals thats hard to do. But some people like to track their progress so if counting protein, carbs, and fat works for you go for it.

HTH!

Yeah, i made my sis cut it blunt. I wanted to try it. And the neck jerking had me visualizing how annoying that would be :lachen:

Ayannah, the weave looks great on you, and you're adorable! Great job "workin on your fitness." Can I ask how old you are, with that figure?

I am 22 years old going on 15 years old... I look really young but it runs in the family. But dont let age fool you, Pinkskates has a tight sexy body so doing something physical consistently and eating right will pay off.

Ok.....It's not REAL but I wanted to start visualizing what past waistlegth would look like. So I purchased a 20" weave, had my sister put it in (if anyone needs a weave and you're in the DC area, my sister does an awesome job) and I think I really like it. I grow to and maintain at this length. I suggest everyone to start visualizing with a weave if your not against weaves. I wanted to share so what do you think?:

Um, to be honest, the back looks odd, maybe some layers or something?

BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY: GIRL WHAT DO U DO TO GET ABS LIKE THAT!??!

SHOOT!

Yeah, I would agree with this. Subtle layering at the bottom would make it look even better. Looks great though!
