Special K i have that same dryer (beam me up scotty!) Anywho...it works fine. Any soft bonnet dryer will do.

Im going to be buying this ASAP! I just have to get another hooded dryer (my hubby threw mine away when we moved bc he didnt know what it was!:wallbash:) and some rollersetting supplies.
Girl, did you :fishslap: him after he told you he threw it away? Girl, make sure he pays for the new one (and some extra hair products too). ;)

I am thinking about purchasing one for me (with natural hair) and my cousin who was natural for 5 years and just started relaxing again.

:yep:I just reciever the Healthy Textures DVD today and watched the full thing: and i absolutely loved it. You learn the proper basics for good hair care: its a great way to learn "visually" how to detangle wet hair w/o breaking and ripping through the hair and "the simplicity" of rollersetting: this by far is my #1 staple: Thank you Macheri: i really learned improved ways of taking better care of my hair. Thank You for this DVD.

I just got mine today I want to watch it so badly but my shows are on tonight..........:cry3:

But tomorrow I am so on it!

I am willing to ruin this fresh flatiron job just to try it out , and I got some silicon mix and lacio lacio in the mai today ooooooooo weeeeeeeee

I got mine today and I just finished watching it. I loved it! To think there was a time in my life when info on how to care for my hair was hard to find. Isn't wonderful to have all this great info available to us now.

Thanks Macherie, you did a great job!

I received my DVD today and I am sooo excited! I will have to watch tomorrow though. Watching movies tonight with family.... I will give my review as soon as I watch but I KNOW that it's going to be great even before watching it. Thanks Macherie!

ITA: i'm so glad that i have this DVD. if i have a hair emergency: i can pop in this DVD and fast forward to the section i need it to, to help w/ whatever hair issue i have at the moment. I love this DVD. I watched it 3 times already. SORRY MACHERIEAMOUR:crybaby:: the 2nd & 3rd time I watched it: i was staring:shocked: at your hair the whole time: its just so beautiful.:hugxplode:

Oh I love that DVD!!! I got mine two days after ordering. I studied the technique a few times before actually doing the rollerset. I did a rollerset this morning and it was THE BEST ROLLERSET I'VE EVER DONE !!! My hair came out so soft and silky, it's amazing!

I woke up to do my hair early this morning. Sitting under dryer as I type (DC'ing). I was able to watch the DVD before I started to wash and shower. The DVD is really good. I can really see Macherie doing a series of these types of DVD's and I would purchase every single one.
I learned that I was NOT rolling correctly...well..I was rolling right for the most part but I was not placing the clips in the right place (I always placed them in front....LOL...no wonder they never felt firm on my head)..so now I know to place them in the 'back' of the roller:rolleyes:. This was why my roots would never really get 'straight' and would curl up....THANKS Macherie! I learned a lot from just reading her tutorial but I learned so much more just by watching!
I even learned how to do a pincurl correctly from the DVD..she only did one to give an example but that was enough for me to finally 'get it'.

I can't wait to roll in a few minutes!

I can't wait for the Self-Relaxing DVD! I will definitely buy it. I'm not sure if I will ever feel comfortable enough to self relax but at least I'll know how from watching her DVD.

Oh and that hair is AMAZING! So healthy and so thick. I was surprised to that she didn't really 'baby' her hair at all. She detangled and did everything in a normal fashion. I always baby my hair because I am afraid of breakage...lol. I detangle so gently......etc... Anyway, now I know that I don't have to be so gentle...gentle but not to the point where I'm obsessed about it.

She's coming out with a self relaxing DVD? I definitely need that. I am tired of getting my hair overlapped by stylists.

I thought I was the only one that noticed that!:lachen: When I saw her doing that at first, I was like:blush:. However, no hair came out onto her comb...AMAZING! I did the same thing and very little hair came out during the whole process, even less than before.:yep:

Wow! Thanks for the amazing review:grin: You guys are awesome. This really made my day!

I wrote in another thread that I was getting nervous that cause I wasnt seeing any reviews. And if I disappointed my LHCF sistas, I would just die:nono:
Oh, you can't disappoint us! I've always admired your hair and loved rollersetting information--it's like gold! :yep:
I'm going to invite some "select others" to watch and I'll serve popcorn, as Allandra suggested.

ETA: On second thought, I'll just have them go to your site and order their own copy. ;)

I received my DVD this afternoon via FedEx. I didn't even know they delivered on Saturday. The DVD was amazing. I can't wait to try it out next week when I wash. I could not believe that she received such fabulous results with minimal product. My rollerset attempts in the past made me run back to my hairstylist. I'm determined to get it right this time and save myself some money. I heart this DVD and Macherie.

I got mine a couple of days ago and I love it! i watched it three times and it has invaluble tips on there. I love the roller tension technique she uses and the flatironed rollerset look. beautiful Thanks Machieramor:yep::yep:

I've been doing rollersets for months: and Macherieamour (I LOVE YOU:notworthy) cuz my rollersets have never came out so perfect: ur technqiue transformed:rosebud: my hair: my hair came out straight: light (airy): and so soft: i never accomplished that the way I rollerset: i can't wait til I perfect: i would have never thought to use a serum on rollersets: thank you macherieamour :giveheart:

Has anyone with texturized hair have good results using Macheries' rollerset method. I've rollerset before but it never looked as nice as Macherie's (her hair is fairly straight).

I got the best, longest lasting, rollerset EVER from using her techniques. I'm giving it

Macherieamour, you are the best thing since pockets on pants! I also have your video (I got it like a week ago) You should've saw me dancing around when the mailman dropped it in my door! I watched it and went right out and bought my magnetic rollers and the clips. Now all I have to do is set aside the time to do it. My hair is thick and it'll take a long time to dry it. BUT your DVD is VERY informative. I can't wait to see what DVDs you will create next!:yep:
