:goodone: Very informative. I have been roller setting my hair since 1990 (learned through trail and error) and I learned some very valuable tips. This is truly a great example of how your method and not your product will give you great hair.

Definitely the best thing I brought since I became a member of LHCF!

Two electrifying thumbs up! :up::up:
Thanks MacherieAmore! :giveheart:

Such a great review. I don't roller set any more, but I feel like I want this dvd for my collection. Who knows, maybe I'll roller set again in the future.

Yeah! Its a keeper and the thought of lending it out is a no-go! I can't take the change of never seeing it again!

This reminded me of that old BET "album compliation" record commercial..."No no, my brotha...you got to get yo own!"

Back to the topic...yeah, I may have to cop that DVD!:yep:

If I get one, I wouldn't lend it out either. They'd have to come over to my house to watch it. I'll even serve popcorn. :yep:

Oooh, sounds like a hair care party. What a great idea! :yep: I know I'd like to host or attend one. :look:

Gurl, you good cuz I aint tell no one about it. :sekret:
Hello? "Yeah I heard this girl with really pretty long hair has a video to help you rollerset you should get one.:look:"

I was so :drunk: when I got it 3 days after I ordered it!!!!

Man I was :spinning:!!! Had to wait until tonight to watch it.

I agree, it is all about technique!!!

I swear I wanna take it to the dominican salon with me. They have the basic down, this dvd will take them to next level where it is Technique + Healthy Hair Care!!!!!

Thanks Macherie!!!!!:yep:

Is there some type of secret to rollersetting that she reveals in this dvd?

How much does it cost? Where did you all purchase it?

I ordered the DVD last evening. I think Macherieamour is great and she definitely has a great sense for business:yep:. I wish you the best of luck in this and all your future endeavors. I can't wait to receive mine. I did FedEx Shipping because I'll be going out of town soon. I already rollerset but I'm not perfect with my sets..although they do come out pretty good. I'm sure I will learn something from the DVD and also share what I learn with friends and family. Thanks!

oooOOOOHHHH....I'm going to get this dvd Friday. I been wanting to learn to roller set my hair on real rollers instead of the caruso's forever:grin: come on Friday, come on Friday:yep:

Wow! Thanks for the amazing review:grin: You guys are awesome. This really made my day!

I wrote in another thread that I was getting nervous that cause I wasnt seeing any reviews. And if I disappointed my LHCF sistas, I would just die:nono:

After watching the DVD I did my hair and let me tell you that was the best roller set I ever done. My hair came out so full and since I love big hair I did not do the saran wrap. I just rolled my hair in my night rollers and told Jesus how he finally shut my mouth up. You see I was always complaining & praying about my hair. Well this DVD is the answer to all my hair prayers.

I took a few pics and once I get them downloaded I will post them. I'm not a pro with taking my our pic so I will try to get a friend to take a pic of the end results.

Thank Again!

My biggest problem with rollersets is that i cannot get the rollers to stay tight.

I don't want to spill the DVD for those who have not gotten it, but I did the whole "roll roll pull" thing she did with my carusos last night and even they stayed in tightly.

I look forward to doing the "roll roll pull" with a rollerset to see if I can get over the loose sets that don't get my hair straight.

Rollersetters may already know about how to do these things, but for me this was all new. The DVD is a great addition to my arsenal and I look forward to sharing it with other.

Way to go Macherie!

Only here can I find ladies that are as passionate about hair care as I am. LOVE IT!

Not only am I buying this DVD to get some more tips, I'm buying it to support you! Good luck in all that you do...and when you do open those salons dont forget about us LHCF sistas! One more thing....shake those haters off, I saw what happened on the blog. I'm glad ms Kibibi got to her before I did!:lachen: Congrats girl!

Same here. It definitely needs to be in the collection, but I rollerset once every 2-3 months.

Shake those haters off! I wish people realized how this can really change the stereotype of black hair by helping us. This dvd is an investment. I dont need to go to the Dominicans or anyone else when I want my rollersets. Plus, Macherie is helping people, her hair is already on point. She didn't have to take the time or energy it takes to make a DVD. A lot of people will benefit from this, so I'm a supporter cause my hair wants to be like Macherieamour's when it grows up. Oh and Sistaslick I love your hair too and your blog! You all keep doing your thing. :yep: And yes, its the best thing I've ever purchased from this board.

Im going to be buying this ASAP! I just have to get another hooded dryer (my hubby threw mine away when we moved bc he didnt know what it was!:wallbash:) and some rollersetting supplies.

Ok so i am so going to order this. I have never been able to roller sat my hair and if i wanted it done i would drive one hour for my mom to do it. I also want to know if any naturals have used it?

I want to get this DVD but is a hood dryer essential for the rollerset?

I have a soft hood dryer (pic attached) as I don't have enough space in my current house for a standing hood dryer.

Do you think the rollerset could look as good when drying with a softhood dryer like this?

The dryer is for drying and that all. You could simply dry if you wanted. I don't see a problem at all with that dryer. The heat will of course help with straightening but using the technique explained in the DVD will help with the straighten.
