I can't give details about what happened.

I have to drop out of all the challenges I'm apart of. I really not sure what I'm going to do from this point on but I'll keep y'all updated.

awwwwww:sad:

I am so sorry to hear that. Whatever it was that happened I hope it didn't cause any physical pain.

((((H U G S))))

Oh WOW!!!. I had one of those before but it was due to me band-wagoning it. So sorry, it will grow back. In my case there was no saving it so I had to whack it all off. :nono:

OMG! I'm almost crying myself just looking! This is just awful. You're going to cover it up and grow it out right? There's no need to get a hair cut I promise.

Maybe you can try MN or some sulfur or something? I tore out a patch of hair close to my forehead from braids and it is growing back pretty good. It was shiny at first, but the new hairs started coming up within about a week or two of being ripped out.

Are they completely pulled out or is that breakage? Chemical burn? Can you tell us? I understand if you don't want to discuss details, though.

I was kind of doing something 18+ and that's why I can't give details. My scalp does hurt. I'm a lil upset but I'm going to sit back and wait to see if my hair grows back. If it does, there's nothing to worry about. But if it doesn't then I will be really upset.

Oh my! I hate this happened to you. Whatever, the cause, the good thing about hair is that it grows back. Praying that you have a speedy recovery:yep:

So it's traction alopecia
OK just try one of those treatments don't wait any longer please:
  • BT
or
  • ORS fertilizing temple balm or serum
It will be OK lady:hug2:

Tell him to stop pulling your hair.:nono:

Using some BT, it'll grow back in no time.

D, it wasn't only him pulling my hair. I lost my balance and let just say he was standing there with a hand full of braids while I was on the floor looking up at my hair in his hands. :lachen:

It's both of our fault but he feels it's only his fault. He's more upset then I am. I'm only a lil upset he is really upset. He keeps calling me to see how my head feels and am I alright. The poor man and my poor hair.

WOW. Just wow.

Those pics look really painful. You are not in any pain, are you? Just thank God you're a member of this site. Did you see Anky's photos? Totally different scenario but the point is, you WILL rebound from this :yep:

Wishing you the best...

OUCH! OMG! My scalp is weeping in sympathy after reading that.

I wish I had some words of advice, but I can barely keep my hair on my own head.

I've heard some stuff about Grow-Aut products being good for growing in hair. I think someone on the board owns this line of products.

Wow... I can't imagine... well I can but... OK I'll stop.

But seriously... my bald patch is coming in nicely. The hair is thinner and straighter than the rest, but it is starting to blend in. You may want to consider growth aides seriously because they really help with the hair that has been pulled completely out. I personally recommend MN and/or BT because MTG smells like armpit and booty. Also, you can massage it everyday and rinse that area with water every day.

OH MY! I guess I better warn my husband to keep his hands out of my hair.... "listen brotha, you can look but you BET' NOT TOUCH!"

Well if it's something that was caused by some rough action, it will grow back in no time.

I know you were in shock. It was that good huh:grin:?

My sister when we were younger had her hair pulled in a spot just like that. We were on a homemade swing and it was hung by rope. We kept twisting her in the swing so that when it untwist...well you get the picture.

We twisted it too tight and the rope broke with the homemade swing. All we saw was hair hanging where she was.

My mother was motified and my sister was scared but it did grow back. Back in the day and I am talking waaaay back the only thing for black hair then was royal crown and I think something called glovers mane hair grease needless to say, it managed to grow back.

You have a lot more topicals that can possibly help you and thankfully it is in a section of your head where you can cover it. I don't know if you are relaxed or natural but I would not recommend any chemicals in that area for a long while.

WOW girl! I'm so sorry this happened to you. Sending out xoxoxos to you right now. I agree with everyone else. It will fill back in and grow back in no time:yep:

Dang girlie sorry about your situation. You know what to do so I am sure you will be able to grow it back. Q

y'all need to stop crying. I think it's kind of funny.

We where in the bathroom and the floor was wet because I had just gotten out the shower.

I'm not in much pain. It only hurts if I touch it. It's in shock right now. My SO massages the areas at night for me.
