I am sorry that you were in an accident and I'm glad that everyone is safe. I know you are stressed out which could only make thing worse especially w/ hair. Are you sore on the right side? If you are, I think your should let the head/scalp heal before trying anything. After you could use some growth aids but the only one I ever used was mtg which is sulfur based. Their plenty of ladies who could help you in this situation. I hope you & your son recover soon.

JBCO is Jamican Black Castor Oil. You can get it on some websites.

I am glad you and baby boy are okay. Take care of yourself. For now if you want to just put your hair away while the part missing grows back that may be a good idea. You can pick up a couple of real looking girlfriends (aka wigs :yep:) just so you can leave your hair alone for a minute.

If you have any more questions, just let us know. Welcome to the site! :yep:

I generally don't do welcome threads, but I wanted to say I wish you a speedy recovery and it's good to see you and baby are doing well. I think the ladies have offered great advice. Just be patient and things will come together in time. Again, welcome to the board :hiya:

I understand that pre-natal vits help hair grow, too. Some women who aren't pregnant take them to grow hair as well. Maybe someone who is taken them now but not preggers can chime in on their success with this.

For the Smoothies, try to be as natural as possible. I get the frozen fruit pieces;the ones in the grocery freezer. A bit of raw sugar or Agave nectar is good for lightly sweetening to taste. Use one cup fruit, same amount of crushed ice, add some water and Blend. If you want to add protein, you can, but I just do the straight-up fruit.

Glad you got the water checked off! :lachen:

All the best...

Thank you sooooo much!! I must look into the stimulators that you talked about. I was breastfeeding, so I still have pre-natal vitamins, would those work until I get some from GNC????? Also, do you make your own smoothies/ If so do you mind giving the recipie, i'd love to try this. And i love water, so I have that checked off already:drunk:

Welcome to the board! Just focus on healing yourself right now and your hair will growth will come!

i continued to take my prenatals after the birth of my son in 08. i believe they contribute to my fast growth

Hi growinghealthyhair! Welcome to the board and SO glad to hear yourself and your little guy are doing well!

OMG.. wow. Are you OK physically?

Ask your doctor about whether the hair will grow back. I'm praying it does. Boundless Tresses helps with Alopecia but i don't know if your situation qualifies.

Welcome to the board! I'm glad you and your son are okay. Just relax and be patient. It'll grow back in no time! JBCO is the truth!

Thank you. I have taken down the install that I had, it did pull the hair out at the roots and it's in the front :-( . I will just be patient though, and give it time to grow back, hopefully it'll be thicker this time around.

Im glad that you are still in the land of the living. I hope you have a swift recovery. I had edges that were really bad. I used a mixture of castor oil, emu oil, rosemary and peppermint oil. rub some in every day.

Where can I find this Emu Oil?????? I am using Castor oil right now. And it's really filling in my edges. And the bald spot ladies. ITS FILLED IN!!

Thank you ladies SO VERY MUCH!!! The Castor Oil Suggestion was great, for my balding spot thats why I began using it for my edges as well.

Just to let you ladies know, the area that was snatched out BALD has grown back in thicker than ever....

You ladies have been SO much help!! Thank you!

Aww hell! I'm just glad you're okay!
I suggest pure clove oil for your scalp. Emu oil is something you should look into for your hair and your injuries. Please google it.
