So everyone knows i went to the Aveda salon and had the best day of my life. But of course it just couldn't last!!!!

So i'm on the elevator in my dorm, with my BEAUTIFUL hair just SWANGIN' away in the wind. I come to my floor and walk off the elevator...and i get hit with a BUCKET OF WATER!!!!!!!!!!!! In the face, in my HAIR!!!! But wait, it gets better (sarcasm)!!!!!! Then WATER BALLOONS come flying at me. At this point I realize I've walked into a water fight...INDOORS...by the ELEVATORS (i swear before GOODNESS these kids at MSU are dumb arses!!!!) I got an apology from one or two people (who don't even live in my dorm, btw) but that's only after i cursed them out with every word i've ever learned in my life.

I'm so mad!!!!!!!! my hair was so lovely. now i gotta wash, and dry it all over again. and i can't use my aveda stuff cuz i left it at my aunts house...and i don't even feel like washing my hair. but i let the water dry up and now it's a CRUNCHY mess!!!!!!! I just wanna cry:cry3::cry3::cry3:

OMG. Words cannot express how truly sorry I am.

I read your previous post about how excited you were. I know it may be a little late but is there a way those bafoons could reimburse you?

You did good to only curse them...I would be in jail right now and YES, over my hair.

I don't blame you for cursing them out, and an apology wouldn't have helped what they did to your hair. It would have been nice if they reimbursed you for the money you paid to get your hair done.

Word! I hate college kids. I am so sad that happened to you. When will you able to get your products from your aunt's house?

No time soon :( she went to California for work for a few weeks!!!!! So i'm back to my ellin levar textures, lol.

But the thought of them reimbursing me was probably NOT gonna happen..white kids don't understand, lol. And it's funny to an extent, but i'm not happy at all. I wanted to go out tonight......i was trying to find me that cute football player i saw on ESPN yesterday, lol!!!!!!!:lachen:

Girl you took the words outta my mouth.....All we do to get our hair looking nice and these fools mess it up right before Thanksgiving! You handled it very well.

I feel your pain...hope you can get your products from yah auntie house soon and re do your hair.

That reminds me of the time I was a sophomore and the freshmen were waxing the hallway floor last year (this stupid tradition we have..)... they got into a fight with turtle wax and THREW it at me. Fresh perm and all... I was FUrIOUS!!! some of it grazed my hair... I was screaming so bad youda thought it was a bullet.

Girl, you're good because I would be in jail right now. I know first hand how silly and STUPID and totally self-centered and unthinking caucasian college students can be. I'm getting pi$$ed just thinking about it. I surely would have had my hands on somebody!

Girl you know they had to be white. Im still mad just from reading it. She is a big person for it, Ida been pouring water on their beds while they slept and flushin while they showered and accidentally spilling drinks on them for a few days until I felt better

Should have went to U of M :lachen: GO BLUE! No, really this is so sad. I would have been livid! But like the other ladies stated you will look back on this and laugh. But I know going to that salon was not cheap and someone would be coming out of some money!

I agree that eventually you will be able to look back and laugh...BUT for now, your anger is justified.

Aveda is far from cheap and I know being a college student money is tight, so I definitely feel for you on that one.

I am not a violent person, but somebody would have been getting water balloons stuffed down their throat..repeatedly. Homeboy would be praying he never saw me on campus again, and would be lookin to transfer...just as soon as he gets out of the ICU.:grin:

I don't think it was an ambush, lol...and yeah, it was kinda funny, but it's like it's 30 degrees outside...why are you playing with water?!?!?!?!?!

But i'm calm now....i called my mommy and told on them, lol!!!!!!!

I know it's a little too late for suggestions on what you should've done so I'll just say that I'm sorry this happened to you. I'd be heated too, but I wouldn't let it slide.

BUT...in case such a situation should arise again, or you really want to get the folks who messed up your hair, I would've snapped a picture of them with my camera phone, or if you know what dorm they're in, simply tell them that you'll be alerting campus police and filing assult charges against them...something to the effect of the water ballon damaging your left cornea :yep:. Anyways, I'm pretty sure they'll offer to do anything you wish at that point, in which case you'd let them know that you'd be willing to hold off on filing a report if they pay you for the damage they've infilicted, or whatever it costs to get your hair done at Aveda.

...Just a thought... :look:

I would be hot as fish grease too! It takes money and time to get your hair "did" and for someone to recklessly ruin that for you is just ridiculous. I wish there was someone you could have talked to about this so you could demand payment from those involved. I am truly sorry...

That's horrible! That is really a stroke of bad luck. But hey, it could have been a lot worse, at least it was only water in the bucket and the balloons...count your lucky stars...

When do folks grow up? These are the future leaders of our nation- scary!

Well, at least these idiots were more or less strangers. A few years ago a friend of mine with gorgeous hair had just come from the salon and was at a party with her husband. It was summer and the home owner had a beautiful inground pool. Well, my girls own husband threw her into the pool- hair, sundress, heels and all!:sad::nono:

I wasn't at the party but my husband came home and told me all about it. My friend was embarrassed and upset since her own hubby did this to her. I know he slept with both eyes open sittin' straight up!:lachen:
