Kenra MC- This stuff detangles, moisturizes and smells yummy. :lick: Nice and thick and creamy, it leaves hair touchably soft. One of the best salon products I have tried and I am so impressed, and not a drop of silicone in it either.

Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Tri-Wheat Leave In Conditioner. Thanks Apples & Brownie for mentioning this. This is the best liquid leave in i've used. It made detangling a breeze. I used this as an alternative to the Aveda Damage Control. Honestly, the HSH is sooo much better.

I might have to look into Healthy Hair Soy because I am going to trade secret during there early bird special..

MISS:

I hate to say this because I really loved this iron - My Pink Solia flatiron.

I snags my hair!! The plates a flexible as you straighten, but they snag my hair. Not worth it. I will just keep it for backup, but my FHI is better for me.

ON THE FENCE: Aubrey Organics White Camellia Conditioner - I think this will be better as a pre-poo for me. It did not give me the after henna conditioning that I needed, but it did make my bone straight ends (the rest is texlaxed) very smooth. I think I will have to try this one on a non-henna day and definitely as a pre-poo.

Let me post my hit over here too.

Hit....Accidental braid out.

I co-washed my hair (Silicon Mix ), oiled my scalp (H2H Stimulate Growth Oil ),sprayed on a leave in Moisturizer (H2H Moisture Spritz ), Detangled in 4 sections, rubbed on a little more cream moisturizer (Optium Cream Hairdress:ohwell:), and pulled my hair back in a ponytail. I braided the end of the ponytail, added 2 rollers, and rubbed a little Wonder Eight Oil  on the top, put on my scarf, and went to sleep. The next morning my hair was still wet on the ends so I just twisted the braids (2) around and made a bun. <----Yesterday. This morning, I took out the braids and fluffed my hair. I went to pin my hair up and thought, this look is cool. So I just left it down. It has lots of body and waves. Turned out better than I would have ever expected!:yep:

Accidental hairstyles always seem to be the best ones! I love em!:yep:

Give that a shot. If you still don't like it I will be happy to take it off of your hands:cool:

The only new item I added to my regimen is castor oil and it's a HIT w/ me and my hair! Love it! I am not a PJ and usually stick with what is best for me but I had a gut feeling about castor oil and decided to give it a try. My hair is so soft and moisturized after using it. It's a staple for me now.

Please let me know how you like them if you try them. I usually have a problem with shampoos. There are few that I can use so far: Elucence MB, Aveda DR, Elucence Clarifying, DE Gentle Cleansing. I am very wary about trying new ones so I was very surprised.

Does these poos do what they say? I love black and shiny hair:)

Hits:

Pre-pooing with an Indian oil mix- It has left my strands feeling thick and super soft, and of course shiny. I love it, even my shedding is at an all time low.

Pre pooing with conditioners I've been trying to get rid of and adding the Indian Oil mix to the condtioner, my hair loves it. (last night I used Jasons Biotin Conditioner with the oil :lick:)

Pre-pooing with one of these methods will be a staple for me with every poo and DC.

HIT
-Red Palm Butter mixed in a rinse-out conditioner. Can we say no tangles:woot:
-Sodium Lactate mixed in a rinse-out conditioner. Tons of moisture, much better than glycerine.

MISS
-plain red palm butter on dry hair :nono: too thick and greasy

ON THE FENCE
-rhassoul clay...well it did clean my hair and made it smoother but application was a pain in the booty. Way messier than henna. Not sure if it is worth the trouble.

Yeah, that red palm is lovely! I have never used the sodium lactate, though. I just ordered some glycerine and I am curious to see how it works out.

I am hoping so. I'll have to use it a few more times before I see a significant difference. I know when I used amla all the time, my hair darkened. This will probably do the same. It is black like tar, too.

Hits:
Generic Products Smoothing Serum (from Sally's)- makes blowdrying and straightening a breeze and it smells nice

Silk Elements Luxury Moisturizing Shampoo- smells great and detangles nicely

Miss:
Generic products Detangler (from Sally's) - does not detangle and makes hair dry

In another thread, I was bragging about getting Sunsilk's 24/7 creme (w/ a 2 oz. shampoo and conditioner) for $2. The shampoo and condition (the pink ones) are big hits! They made my hair soft and detangled. However, the 24/7 creme is a :nono:...a big MISS! I feel like I have a thick coating on my hair every time I use it, like my hair is not absorbing it. I didn't notice at the store that it has mineral oil and petroleum in it too--big no-no's for me.

:nono: I have the same problem with that HydraSilk leave in. It really overmoisturizes me. I love the Straighten-Up (purple) and the Anti-Caida (dark pink) Those are excellent. I think I need to try the Anti Frizz. Don't give up on the 24/7's, though. They are not all like the pink one.

hits :) :

henna from yemen (really did dye redder with this)

MTG (revisiting an old friend)

good hair day pins (perfect for protective styles)

Aussie moist shampoo and conditioner

misses :( :

Stretching til Dec (last relaxer was in Feb... but fell off and did a touch up on Sept 1st... dissapointed because i wanted to transition... :wallbash: :( ... maybe i'll just start transitioning now???)

surge...(i know its sacred around here, but i had a new bottle that i bought last year.... i used it once... and my scalp is burning (maybe a reaction to my MTG???))

foam doh-nut bun...( creates cute buns... but every time I remove the foam doh-nut... i notice little (some long) hairs IN the foam... it was breaking my hair off:nono:... now maybe if i wrap it with a satin/silk scarf first... THEN it could be a hit)... trapped hair in the foam is what switched me up to pinned up protective styles as opposed to buns...

where can I purchase this?

Hits:
Mizani H20 Nightime Treatment: It did everything Supergirl said it would do and from the very 1st use. When used in conjunction with my normal nightime moisturizing it put a stop to breakage and brittleness on my ends. It's yummy, its so creamy plus it truly does smell like Thierry Mugler Angel perfume too. :yep:

Jamilla Henna: Not unlike my usual brand, Dulhan, a great choice.
Hesh Amla powder: Great stuff, didn't dry out my hair like another generic brand I had previously used.

Revisited Hit:
Motions Silk Protein: Thick & creamy too, nice protein treat.

Pantene Breakage Defense Mask: This stuff is heaven in my hair, and smells amazing.
