Grow an inch per week? Is this real or BS?

I'm going to give it a try. Last month I had my hair in box braids for 2 weeks, massaged coconut oil into my parts daily. No inversion. When I took my braids down, my hair was muuuuch thicker and noticeably longer. My husband noticed right away. At least a 1/2" It was unbelievable. Since there were so many factors between the evco, ps'ing & massage, I wasn't able to pinpoint what had produced the most benefit (if not the entire combo). I've been saying I'm going to do this monthly. But if this works... I wouldn't feel dependent on a certain oil or style.

Ok now this is easy to incorporate and since I need to see the most growth in the crown area I will start to do this, once a week (every other week at minimum).

You're welcome. Also, i don't apply anything to my scalp. I just moisturize, put on a baggy and invert for 4minutes. I keep the baggy for an extra 20-30 minutes, than seal as needed. I will try and document this month's inversion progress. I am not trying to be a pusher:look:, but this is the only growth boost that does not cause me to shed like crazy. Huge doses of vitamins and topical growth aids almost had me bald with shedding.
The results were fast, and not damaging to my strands. Good luck everyone.
 
I've started doing this again but I need to make sure I'm inverting for at least 4 mins. I think I was only doing 3 mins. Dont know if it makes a difference because last time I only got about .5 in and this time I want 1 in!

Yes maam! I sure did! I do it once a month. The first time I did it I think I said I got like .25in and the next month about .5in and this month I'm hoping for the same or more. When I get a new phone next month I will post before and after pics.

I am late to this thread I thought it wouldn't last but since its still here I'm reading now. I haven't to read the whole thing but the episode of 100 days to die popped in my head the first time I read the title. This robber got stuck upside down and started having one stroke after another. I'm sure he was hanging for several hours and this is only for a couple minutes but I sure hope those of you who do these heed to the warnings and would ease into something like this before hurting yourself. Like I wouldn't do the whole four minutes on the first try or anything. Maybe gradually test your bodes reaction to something like that through beginners yoga or something.

Day 3, 4mins a day... There's something about this that makes me feel really... Good. It's relaxing. I hope that's not the sensation that occurs right before the strokes begin...

I wonder if it makes a difference if you break up the sessions into 2 sets of 2 minute inversions? I've been doing the full 4, but I'm curious.

I'm four days late and there was a day where I forgot to invert, but here are my results. Sometimes I just inverted but other days I massaged beforehand. Looks like I got about a half inch.

Wow you definitely gor some growth there is this over the month? How many days did you invert completely?

I think that after just lurking I may give this a try. Il be back :)

how do you invert ? I mean whats your position? do you do an headstand against the wall or..

I invert in this chair once a day for 3-4 minutes. I aim for daily but the reality is it happens 3-4 days a week, some week none at all.

Here is me in action. Sometimes I do it on my back, and it's more comfortable.
 
MystiqueBabe 8-10 minutes is too long. The increased blood flow (pressure) to your brain can be dangerous/fatal. I personally would never go over 4 minutes, which I already believe to be much.

Okay so did my first inversion this morning. Only did 2 mins brcause I didn't want to push it. Was fine felt fine as I positioned myself quite comfortably on my sofa. Forgot to massage but there is always tommorrow.
 
I'm going to try combining this with my daily workout. I went for a 30 minute run, did my pull ups, then came back in. My hair was super sweaty so I didn't wanna add oil to it. I just went straight into my stretching routine, and a few head-stands, maybe 30 seconds each. Not sure if I'll be able to squeeze this in every day this week though. The only way I am comfortable inverting is standing on my head. Anything else makes me dizzy. Weird i know.
 
Have any of you ladies noticed improvement in your complexions from inverting? I would assume that the increased circulation would benefit your face as well. I'm curious...
 
I'm going to start doing this! Can some of you ladies share which method of inversion you do, and where you do it?
 
It worked! I started on Wednesday September 4. This is the result 7 days later. I got an inch!!

It definitely works. I've been doing it regularly (at least 7 days) and I've noticed that my hair is longer. I haven't even been using my growth aids. Now what I want to know is if it's possible to get 4 inches in a month by doing it daily. I've noticed that it kind of relaxes me. Except one day it seemed like an abnormal amount of pressure in my head and my nose started to get stuffy so I got up. So today I will start. I will measure now and every Thursday for a month. I'll come back and post this time next month.
