Continued HITS

HH Hemp Nostalgia on dry hair. Looooovvvee it.
HH Jar of Joe. Great for sealing and midday scalp massages. Smells nice

Possible HIT
Hairveda Jardin oil. The smell is very faint, which I love because I hate for the scents to clash or overpower my perfume. I've used it as a sealant and oil rinse. Right now my hair feels decent, but kinda oily. I think I used too much.whoops

Lita Good News! Thanks Ms. Lita:grin:

Kindheart How disappointing.:perplexed I haven't tried that one. How are the other SSI products working for you?

Hey T ! I like the Okra and Avocado conditioner, they give great slip and softness ,the seyani butter is good ,however it didn't really do anything for me on holiday .I haven;t tried the Banana Brulee yet .

HIT HIT HIT:
Qhemet Biologics Burdock Root Cream -
Instant softness of course....(which is expected from Qhemet) BUT I put it to the test. I twisted my hair up moisturizing with a good amount of the Cream and went on a cruise for 4 days. Didn't wrap my hair up at night half the time..wore a wig cap almost all of the time and only spritzed my hair ONCE with the Amazing Botanicals Aloe Mint Spritz. Got home and my hair was STILL MOISTURIZED. Madness!!!! I didn't even seal with anything! No butter, no oil, NADA. I'm glad I decided to venture out and try to find some holy grail products on ground because this stuff is the bomb!

Stop! I'm going to want to order the bolded. I heard it's great for fine haired individuals.

YASSSS I love this! I mean 4 days..and not sleeping with a cap half the time being crazy on a cruise? Crazy to stay moisturized like that! I have fine-hair and I personally like it because it is a cream and not as heavy as the amla olive which is pretty darn solid. I had to do my own PJ search for another Holy grail moisturizer after issues with my Hair Frappe :( If you can find it on ground I think you should try it but I wouldn't buy it online for the price and pay all that shipping!

A long lost hit: Giovanni direct leave in. I have used this to blowdry my hair and airdried...both times my hair is moisturized. I'm going to revisit Giovanni products.

Hit:
HH Tutti Frutti - smells great
BFH Macadamia - dug this way back item deep from the stash; performance was great but smell was not my preference

This moisturizer is truly amazing. Your hair comes out light fluffy and moisturized. That's my HG moisturizer. I wish the scent was not so earthy but it faints away.

I have found my baby daddy moisturizer: Hairitage Soft Coconut Marshmallows. Three days, and my hair is STILL soft and squishy and moisturized.

I thought Fluffalicious and Camille Rose Almond Jai were awesometastic. Soft Coconut Marshmallows puts those two to shame.

MISS
- Hairitage Hydration Banana Pudding DC

HITS
- Hairitage Hydration Hemp Nastalgia
- Hairitage Hydration Sugar Scrub (skincare)

I love your reviews. I have the HH SCM but haven't really used it yet but when I come out of these braids I sure will. I tried the fluffylicous and remember liking it better than the Pink Berry Lemonade. I didn't post my review b/c i thought my mind was playing tricks on me and didn't want to be disappointed. I wanted Pink Lemonade to be my holy grail. I still like it though.

gorgeoushair Fluffalicious is good, but if you haven't tried Soft Coconut Marshmallows, you need to get on it! Blows Fluffalicious out of the water. I'm obsessed with it.

Peach Waves is good too, I like it better than Pink Berry Mimosa, I think. :yep:

Miss: dermorganics sulfate free shampoo. What is wrong with these sulfate free shampoo being so drying. The only sulfate free shampoo that left me with soft hair is keracare detangling shampoo. My joico moisture recovery has sulfate, and it leaves me with softer hair than all the sulfate free poo i used, including the AIA sulfate free poo. I think i am just going to stick with sulfate shampoo and suds-free cleansers from now on.
I'll see how the silk dream go moist works when i get it in the mail.
Continued hit: Caludie's normalizing deep conditioner. I like i how this stuff smoothes down my cuticles, and leaves me with dark shiny hair. And it takes my hair extra hours to airdry when i use it.

Continued Hit:
-SD wheat germ butter condish --> awesome leave in!!!!

-I love the Hairveda vatika frosting (I wasn't a fan of coconut oil as a primary ingredient in products but this right here has changed my mind!!)

New HIT: SD avocado butter , didn't provide much slip after washing it out but my hair is amazingly SOFT! (I am new fan of Silk Dreams, great products!)

b.a.s.k. cocoa and Y.A.M. mixed (continued hit) with safflower oil over it. I didn't like it with the oil mixed in. Over made my hair pretend to be silky.

Hit: African Pride Shea Butter Miracle Silky Hair Moisturizer - keeps my hair super stretched and moisturised for as long as I want it that way :yep:. I apply 1x a day, usually at night when I braid for bed. Tried it for 4 days and it worked. Now I'm back to S-Curl but now I know what to do and use when I don't want to encourage shrinkage for a while.

On my quest to find the perfect detangler.....
Darcy's Pumpkin Seed Conditioner MAY be a better detangler than Qhemet Cocoa Tree Detangling Ghee
I needed to use WAY less product and I was able to comb with a lot less snags than last week with the Cocoa Tree! It smells like yummy pumpkin spice also :lick: Both products are yummy though :) Can't wait to try the Knot Sauce!!

big hit: rinsing my henna by dunking my head i a tub full of warm water! oh my my ! it saved me time and product! best thing ever.

miss: cleaning the bath tub after:nono:

Do you lean over the tub?

I can't see any mentions on my IPhone. PM me if it is a must see. Allons y

You can lean over , but what I did: I filled the bath tub and got in , on my knees, dunked one side than the other! Let me tell you, it is a henna magnet, but just beware of the water colour after

This is my issue exactly! Keracare was the only sulfate free shampoo I liked. My favorite shampoos of all time are Pantene Relaxed and Natural, Creme of Nature, and Design Essentials Moisture Retention Shampoo. All have sulfates and work 10x better than any sulfate free shampoos I've used.

HIT: Olde Jamaica Odor Free Black Castor Oil Treatment w/ Tea Tree Oil. I just got Marley Twists and am using this to oil my scalp and it's excellent; a little goes a long way. This is a great product to oil your scalp. It's JBCO mixed with tons of essential oils and does not have a heavy smell like original JBCO. Listed below is a link to the site to order it; unfortunately I have not seen it sold in stores:

Hits: Silk Dreams Pre, Vanilla Silk, Wheat Germ, Creme de la Silk, and Nourish Oil. My son always complains when I pre-poo w/EVCO, because of the smell. The Pre solves that. However, it may need to be a treat due to the cost vs. EVCO. My hair felt amazing when I rinsed the Vanilla Silk out.

I have been using the Wheat Germ, Creme de la Silk, and Nourish Oil for the LCO method. My hair stays moisturized for days.

On the fence, regarding Whip My Hair. It's too thick for me to finish detangling while I'm in the shower washing my hair. I usually dry detangle with whatever I'm pre-pooing with, before I put the shower cap on and go to sleep and finish detangling with my HS Jumbo Rake and As I Am Coconut Co-Wash.
