HIT.HIT.HIT.
Im so sad at myself for taking this long to try it out.

My hair HATED Hawiian silky but loves scurl.:heart::heart:

I am happy your qb brbc is working great. It is truly an awesome moisturizer. The heavy cream I just used for the first time yesterday. I had it for a while but was scared cause of the aloe Vera in it. That thing gives me dry crunchy hair. I'm touching my hair now and twistout is still soft like butter. But one thing though, use as little as possible. When she says heavy, she meant it. My first few twists got a bit greasy cause I used too much. I first moisturized with brbc, and twisted with the heavy cream which also served as a sealant. If you go light, you will get perfect moisture retention.

Soooo...the Qhemet Burdock Root Cream passed the moisture retention test!! My twists are still moisturized and supple and they aren't waxy or icky at all! I love itttt!!! This is going to be my staple moisturizer from now on! I'm going to try sealing with the amla and olive heavy cream ronie like you suggested! I'm so happy YAY! Now hopefully this cocoa tree detangling ghee is going to my new staple detangler.... :drunk:

Miss
SSI Honey Rinse -- didn't work as a cowash but did ok when applying to dry hair as a pre-wash item

Hit
SSI Avocado -- excellent conditioner

Hit, but a miss, but still a hit- B.A.S.K. Silk & Honey Latte. Moisturizes the boys hair, defines, but gives him shrinkage. Yeah, I am talking about a 1 yr old.

HIT! purabody muru muru hair milk

Hit --> Naturelle Grow Moisturizing Hair Cream

An excellent moisturizer, it hydrates, softens and has a light, non greasy feel when applied. My hair mid week was dry and tangly, was too tired to do a cowash last night so I twisted my hair with the NG moisture cream and was very pleased with the results. It basically resurrected my hair... gave me a really nice, defined twist-out. Very impressed with this line so far.:yep:

Initial impression hit: silk dream almond butter cream. I forgot i ordered this, and the mocha bling, and the mocha hair milk. Lord help me.
Anywho, this little deliciousness smell so yummy, like vanilla cake. It is super creamy. It absorbs quickly in my hair, and gives great shine. Did not feel the need to seal, and my highly porous hair stayed moisturized all day. Although my hair was already very moisturized from the day before (used qb brbc and qb aohc), this looks like it s gonna be a keeper. Will have to use it on dry hair to see its true performance. The great news is it has no glycerin, and it has silk protein. Can't wait to try my other silk dream products.
This is my first time trying this line, and i have to give respect to the hype about it.

HIT:

- Camille Rose Ajani Growth & Shine Balm. Smoothed my hair and softened it just like Claudie's Tiffani Ceramide Pomade, without the wax and buildup. Definitely a repurchase.

- BlueRozeBeauty Strawberry Hibiscus Deep Conditioner. Smells sooooo good and made my hair soft and moisturized. Not as awesome as the Cocoa Coffee Rhassoul Mask, but it's still good in its own right. :yep:

tiffers i am excited to use her rhassoul conditioner. I love, love anita grant rhassoul conditioners, but i am so lazy to mix, and clean all the mess. I have about 4 boxes sitting in my stash. Will appreciate the convenience of ready made rhassoul conditioner, cause it is premix right? lol.

gorgeoushair ,apologies for the delayed response, I fired off that quick post b4 heading out to work so just seeing your question now. In any event, my texture is 4b, pen spring type coils when wet, fine, low porosity, low to med density (depends on area of my head). There is a pic of my stretched hair styled in a twist out on my profile page.

Hairveda Red Tea Strong Hold Gel....Ive used this about 4 times now to lay down my edges and shall I say.....The stuff is good. No frizzes, no crunchy or hard feeling, super sleek, and nice shiny finish. Its doesn't replace my beloved PUR Whipped Hair Gelly by Afroveda, but its definitely a close second. This will now be a back up in case Afroveda ever discontinues the PUR Whipped (shes been doing alot of that lately ).

Miss:

The smell of the Red Tea Strong Hold Gel. Its doesn't smell bad, I just prefer sweeter scents. This is very lemony :ohwell:.

Why did I take so long to try silk dream. True moisture without the coating icky feeling, shine without greasiness and ingredients to die for. Yesterday I moisturized with almond buttercream, Bantu knot with mocha bling butter, and the results are amazing. Soft soft soft curls. I did it on dry hair, no misting with water nothing. There is not much hold, the curls started to drop after a few hours, but I don't care. Next time I will keep the Bantu knots for a day or 2. I only had those in for about 12 hours. Of course I got pictures, lol.

Continued Hits-

Heritage cream of Broccli-Is incredible on wet/damp hair..Able to finger in a breeze..No snags,it really lays down your cuticles..

Heritage moisture riser-Love it as a rinse-out,makes your hair Fluffly/soft,it's a nice co/wash too..It wasn't bad a leave-in..But I prefer to use it as a rinse.

HV omega oil-Still works really nice on wet hair, absorbs well/smooths out your ends.

Njois green tea butter-I like it on my scalp, helps with shedding/hair fall & a little goes a long way...The texture is soft.

Happy Hair Growing!

Sample of Silk Dreams Razzberry Coconut Affair - I love this whipped delicious-smelling happiness and it has my hair looking and FEELING so fly.

Clear Hair and Scalp Therapy Nourishing Conditioner - I don't care much for products with silicones anymore. It gives slip solely due to the cones. I feel some kind of way of them not having on their label "Drug Facts: Active ingredient: zinc pyrithione or pyrithione zinc. " They usually have that on hair care labels when it's added. It is also very perfumey, which may make people love it or hate it.

I got it for free. It's a hit but I won't buy again. In love with Silk Dreams too much.

Miss: Self relaxing. I will leave the application to my mom...

On the fence: African Pride Silky Hair Moisturizer. It reminds me of a lightweight oil moisturizer. Not sure how to feel about it, but I've gotten a compliment at work about how shiny my hair looks today :)

Hit: Ion after-treatment hair sealer. It's something to be used after chemical processing (color, relaxers etc). But I used it after deep conditioning to seal it in. Had some left over from my last relaxer so figured I would use it after deep conditioning. When it's done I might purchase the big bottle.

big hit: rinsing my henna by dunking my head i a tub full of warm water! oh my my ! it saved me time and product! best thing ever.

miss: cleaning the bath tub after:nono:

Hit:

NaturelleGrow intense DC ( finally figured out how to use it for my hair)
Hairveda whipped clouds and avosoya oil (I don't need to be heavy handed, moisturized and helps to seal very well!!!!)
