Grow an inch per week? Is this real or BS?

Well, I got probably 1/4 of an inch but I wasn't consistent. I will continue to do this for another two days and see if there's any difference because I know I've been consistent since Friday so I will go to Friday!

I took down my sew in so I'm going to attempt this. What oils would be best to use for the scalp massage? I only have argan oil in my stash.

I tried this for like 2 weeks inconsistently and finally got around to stretchin' my hair last week and was like wow at the length gained...........I don't know if it really was the technique or something else. I'm definitely gonna stick with it though. Just gotta make sure I'm consistent as that was my main problem.

That,I would have to see to believe..not buying it at all,a good scalp massage and brushing with a wide bristle brush will stimulate the scalp nicely. We all know the growth rate for hair and that it grows a little faster in Spring or Summer..because hair and nails are on natures clock just like flowers and trees.

I don't know if it works but based on basic anatomy it isn't that far fetched. Disclaimer: I didn't watch the video.

The heart more easily pumps blood down than up. The heart doesn't not pump blood to the extremities as well as it does to the rest of the body. The blood carries oxygen and nutrients through out the body. The efficiency of circulation varies from person to person.

So inverting the head below the heart allows the blood to more fully flow through the head, which then allows your scalp and hair to have a greater flow of oxygen and nutrients to it as usual.

People have used various things to improve the circulation: brushing, massaging, exercise

It's just a different method to improve circulation. And improved circulation can provide the hair with nutrients and oxygen it doesn't normally get.

But like I said I didn't watch the video to see if she is doing something strange. But if it's just letting your head rest below the heart for a while, it makes sense to me.

VictoriaCrystal See it and believe it, cuz I posted my results here: www.longhaircareforum.com/showpost.php?p=18202813&postcount=50

I think I'm going to try this in about 2 1/2 weeks. I'm going to texlax and straighten within the week after next so the week after that ITS ON! I really don't want to straighten 2 weeks in a row, but shooooottt for a inch of growth, I'll risk it .

I saw the YouTube vids and they were saying its not something you should do every week and the results would not be the same. She said it would be best to do it once a month. Y'all got me real curious now coming in here with results. My head is so big though and I am afraid I will literally topple over. I already fall over to the side during yoga:lol:

I just take that time to thoroughly stretch my calves and hamstrings while massaging my scalp in the forward bend... its not hurting anything to try so I say go for it!

I wonder... How about sleeping sith head dangling off bed?

No that's dangerous don't lose your mind.

Okay so I am assuming this whole thread is about inversion. There is a lot of inversion going on in yoga for instance (downward facing dog). I can see how this can stimulate blood flow. Those who do inversion on an inversion mat for their backs etc sometimes say they notice their hair growing faster and stronger so I could see how this could work. BUT they aren't inverting for hours. And they build up their time too so it's not like going from 0 to 10000.

Please please whoever does this use precautions and be safe.

So common on LHCF, if it does that well for 30 minutes let's do it for 4 days. If it works that well with 2 tea bags lets use 10.

I know it's not just LHCF but I see it more here. LHCF is teaching me how to keep it simple and not go overboard.

For those that have access to a Jacuzzi that would have the same effect of improving circulation, which is why they suggest a maximum time to stay in.

I'm not sure if a steam room and/or sauna improve circulation or a steamer for that matter. But these wouldn't be things you would do every day.

i just started doing it. But i will be doing 2 minutes 4-5 times a week. I figure that can't hurt, and i will see how my hair does in 3 months.
