that butter feels to me like it has something against me. like it just wants to make my hair and skin a living hell. it wants to phuck up my hair life and i refuse to let it honestly, and this some real truth right here, i wouldnt pay someone to take this butter off my hands.
her other butters might be good but this one?

Kiss My Face Upper Management Gel - One of the worst products I've ever used. Caused flash-drying, which started the worst matting experience I've ever seen with my hair. You cannot even PAY me to put that crap in my hair again.

Ecostyler Krystal - I used Ecostyler for a year with little trouble aside from dryness and periodic matting in some areas. After using KMFUM, Ecostyler never worked the same again. It made the above-mentioned matting episode even worse, and now, I cannot use it without my whole head turning into dreadlocks.

Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Gel - Brittle, tangled, split (midshaft) hair, most likely due to its high glycerin/humectant content.

Honorable mention:
Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose - Jury's still out on this one, but I'm leery of it now because of the glycerin. ETA: It started off fine, and I even DC'd with it once & had good results, but it usually left my hair feeling rough and tangled.

What I can't get over is her little *DOUBLE DUCT TAPING INCIDENT*. First off who in the history of hell DUCT TAPES labels after being in business for 2 years (@Kurlee, she pointed out the specific type of said tape ...had me rollin'). However not only did she duct tape my label, but she sent me the wrong product with the label of the product I wanted DUCT TAPED on top of the actual DUCT TAPED label ....

The only thing that placated me was that I really love the products. Haven't reordered yet, watching how her company floats for a lil longer, what with her illness and turnaround / shipping issues.

I use to go in hard in the paint for MHC.

I agree with coyacoy it's over-priced & shipping - while fast isn't cheap.

However I did really like it.

I still have some stuff in my Stash:

Honey & Horsetail Reconstructor

Honey Hemp Hair Creme x2

I've tried just about everything from this line. Definitely all the DC'ers and most of the Lotions and several of the Oils/Spritz.

I think BF is her Biggest Discount of the year. B1 G1 50%.

The rest of the year it's bascially 10%.

I will say though: Her CS and entire transaction is on point and no non-sense.

Mizani relaxer - dried out my hair something awful over time. Hated it!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you try lye or no lye. When I switched to lye, I had more moisture and less breakage.

Aveda dry remedy... Too oily and heavy. Felt like I had residue-doo on my hair.

Shea moisture DC's.... None of them really worked for DC-ing. Maybe pre-poo.

Carols daughter macadamia setting foam-epic fail and epic buildup.

Kerastase ciment thermique... Breakage city due to directions indicating you put on half the strand and not the whole strand.

Lush R&B... Good, but slight buildup will occur.

Carols daughter monoi... My severe crown breakage is still thanking it (ugh)

Metrobeauty.com – for taking 2 months to process my order and another 15 days to issue my refund.

3 sisters beauty supply – for the owners’ sloppy business practices and nasty customer.

Hydro Quench Systems – for taking 38 days to ship my order, promising free gifts and product upgrades for the delay, and shipping the package without any freebies and missing one of the products I ordered.

It’s Perfectly Natural – for lying about fulfilling my order, sending a fake tracking number and unceremoniously canceling my order after I filed a PayPal dispute.

In fact, I have an unopened box from them from BF. I need to open it and make sure it's right.

IPN is just plain Crazy. Something is certifiably wrong with her.

And HQS I keep wanting to give her the benefit of the doubt since she was battling Breast Cancer.

I hope you got things resolved with her and that she refunded you.

Aw, thanks, Girlie (you’re always so sweet and empathetic towards others).

I expect errors and misfortunes to occur while shopping online; it’s part of the equation. However, an owner’s overall attitude and the manner in which they resolve issues matters most to me, and largely determines whether I will patronize their business.

Some vendors could have a 95% off sale on products that make my hair glisten and sing show tunes, and I wouldn’t bat an eyelash in their direction. They’re not getting a dime of my money.

Paul mitchell the conditioner- I had such high hopes for this product, but it just didn't deliver. It made my hair look dull and it took forever to dry. I will say that my mom loves it, she's natural.

No, HQS never refunded my money. It was for a sample item, so the cost was minimal. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt as well, but every small business owner should have a detailed contingency plan in place for such occurrences. While I feel for her and wish her the best of health, business is still business.

If a vendor would refund all of their outstanding orders at the onset of a crisis, it would go a long way in establishing a good relationship with their consumer base. IMO, it’s not right to take peoples money and place them on hold while resolving a personal issue.

At any rate, that ship has sailed; I placed her on my 95% off list.

ME TOO! i liked it for about 5 minutes as a cheap rinse out condish....but when i used it to co wash, UGH my scalp itched for almost two weeks. i could not get it to stop...i tried everything.

then my hair felt dry and just awful.

i won't ever use that stuff again.
