Who washes or cowashes hair more frequently? naturals or relaxed

I am curious to see the results. My hunch is people with natural hair tend to wash their hair more often but I could be wrong

I wash my hair twice a week. A co-wash on Wednesday and a regular wash on Friday or Saturday. Occasionally, if my hair feels gross, I put in an extra co-wash.

Even though I'm relaxed, I voted natural 6x a week because when I was natural I would cowash veryyyy often to "refresh" my hair, sometimes I just ran water through it. Now that I'm relaxed I cowash about 5 times a week.

When I was relaxed I cowashed my hair at least 2 times a week. Now as a natural Its more like every 10 days or so.

My relaxed hair was just more easy to handle, - co-wash -apply leave in - air dry 2 loose buns -----> 30 mins to and hour, depending on if I throw in a DC/Steam

Natural hair - detangle dry - wash - condition - rinse - detangle - twist --- > 2 - 5 hours depending on how small Im doing my twists
I basically devote a day to doing my hair now (usually a sunday or thursday)

When I was relaxed I washed my hair only once a week, but, if I knew then what I know now, I would have been cowashing at least two or three times a week in addition to using shampoo.

Naturals wash/co-wash more than the average relaxed head in every day life but on hair boards the ratios are probably about the same.

As for me, as a loose haired natural I washed every 4-7 days, never co-washed.
With locs I rinsed every few days (was working out more), shampooed every 7 days.
Now that I'm relaxed I wash/co-wash every 4-5 days.

I cowash very rarely, relaxed or natural--it's fine for my hair depending on what I was using, but absolutely terrible for my scalp. I have very oily skin, including my scalp, and cowashing did not leave it clean at all--I would end up itching and practically gouging out chunks of my scalp from scratching due to the residue left on my scalp from cowashing. Once I found a sulfate-free shampoo that worked for me, I wash 1-2xs a week, depending on how hot it is and how often I'm working out.

I'm natural. My major wash routine is on the weekends...but I condition rinse anywhere from 2 to 4 times a week.

I'm natural and I co-wash everyday to every-other-day depending on my mood and hair...sometimes I'll just do a thorough wet and massage my scalp without any conditioner. My scalp and hair love the frequency of just being wet, with or without conditioner. I shampoo once a week.

When I was relaxed, I washed every 2 weeks. As a new natural I washed 4-6x/wk, then I settled into washing 2x/week, then once a week, now I'm pretty much back to every 2 weeks.

Before joining this forum I never knew anyone with relaxed hair who co-washed at all; I think it's awesome to learn of those who do.

I'm natural and co-wash about 4-5 times a week, unless my hair is twisted (and I don't shampoo)-my hair just seems to thrive off of it.
