No but I would wear a shirt that said : "Yes, this is all my hair" LOL :)

Me too! Or "No, you may not touch my hair." both of those would be appropriate for the FAQ I get

I don't understand the point of the shirt or what wearing it would accomplish. So no I wouldn't wear it, nor associate with anyone who did.

There's a misconception that black women don't wash their hair often. Add natural hair and locs into the mix and people think you wash your hair far less often.

I wonder if those shirts are selling.

Says who? Seriously I have never heard of this.

Nah. I hate shirts with curse words on them. I feel that not everyone wants to see that and I don't want kids reading it.

I'm surprised you've never heard this before.

There are black women who still believe that dirt makes their hair grow. Would rather smack themselves silly before washing their hair. Or they only wash between salon visits, relaxer touch ups or weave installs.

As a natural, I currently wash my hair once maybe twice a week and people are always surprised by that. I used to co-wash daily and they were downright flabbergasted.

CocoBunny, I know so many people that feel like washing their hair once a month is the best hair practice on this earth. Like kandake stated, I have heard, more since my HHJ, that I am damaging my hair by cowashing it every 3 days. My bestfriend feels like, if her scalp isn't dirty or flaky, than her hair not growing. She will NOT wash her hair in between her monthly salon visits either. Idk know why black women have that perception.

I have learned that a lot of black women I know do not wash their hair often; especially if they have a weave, braids, or extensions. Shoot, even if they have nothing in their hair. Shoot again, a lot of women on this board only wash their hair once a month.

In fact earlier this week, a friend at work was scratching her head and talking about just spraying it. I asked why she doesn't just wash it. She said she wanted to go another 2 weeks before she washes her hair.

The majority of other races wash their hair daily because it gets oily. In comparison, as a race, we do wash infrequently.

I wash my hair every 3 weeks to 1 month unless it's "out" or braided in two. My hair is too thick and it's too stressful, time consuming and burdensome for me do otherwise. My scalp stays clean, I stay away from grease which attracts dirt and I'm good to go. My scalp doesn't like too much manipulation.
