The coupon code is "thankyou," but it's not active until the 27th.

I thought I didn't need anything. Then I thought some more lol.

I need a couple of the Herbal Leave-In Conditioning Spritzes. I love those, I'm out, and I've been waiting on a sale. Might be a good time to try the DC too. Leaving the cleansing conditioner for another time, can't justify adding another one to my stash right now...

I wanted the cocoa bean cream but someone said the scent is strong (thread in the Vendor Forum).

Thanks! I'm running low on the CL Transitioning Creme and Daily Leave-In Condish.
I wish she offered sample sizes, there are a handful of things I'd like to try but would rather try a sample first.

I don't even need anything--unopened 16oz of my transitioning creme and almost full 8oz pumpkin condish. But I've been curious about the daily leave in so maybe I'll use that as an excuse.

The cocoa bean cream is phenomenal! I just don't have a place for it in my regi right now. And like someone already said, the scent fades away. I think it smells delicious though.

prettyinpurple I'm thinking about getting the herbal leave in spray. does it truly help A LOT with detangling? Or does it detangle "a little bit?" Right now I'm using BRX Braids spray to dentangle and moisturize... and was thinking about replacing it with that. Also how does that Herbal spray smell? TIA

^^I don't use it to detangle so I can't answer that. Sorry. But I used it as a refresher spray in the mornings or right before re-styling. It has a nice minty scent from what I remember. I also like the sprayer b/c it's a good mister and not a streamer. Why does that sound dirty? lol

Yea I don't have a place for the coca bean right now either. Using up similar products that smell waaay too strong for me and it lingers (CJ CCCL and Oyin Dew).

I just took the spray out of my cart... I have something that works for $3.99... if it ain't broke, don't fix it right?? lol Oh and never said that the spray sounds dirty  I looked at the reviews and nothing explained what it exactly smelled like.

If you thought Oyin's Hair Dew was super strong then yes, you'll think the cocoa bean is super strong too. I really liked Hair Dew, it never bothered me.

Oh the discount basically adds up to free shipping so it's not a steal really :ohwell: W/the discount and my shipping quote, I only came out 50 cents ahead.

That was for three items. Her shipping seems high. I don't remember thinking that before but maybe thoughts of a sale just blinded me :look:

Is anyone using DB products also doing the CG method?

I dont see why not.... They don't have any cones...

Yep... it basically came up to free shipping... I only bought 1 item though... Any discount is beter than no discount.. lol

I don't remember the shipping being that high either. A lot of times that's all these discounts cover, the shipping costs :ohwell:

It's worse when the shipping is more then the discount off :perplexed:

If it didn't cover shipping I wouldn't be buying nuttin'. Everyone need to be on that flat rate shipping.

It's like when they have coupon to department stores and it basically covers the tax. I'll take that over full price any day.

Just bought a 16 oz bottle of Transitioning Creme, discount was $5.00 off but my shipping totaled $6.50...

I'm annoyed the shipping cost more than the actual discount ... but in the end, the transitioning creme works wonders for my new growth so sucked it up and bought it.

Thanks for responding. I was curious because I notice that some pf her products has methosulfate in it. I google it and found that it is ok to use while on CG.

this is a nice discount I might try this stuff out. I see that you guys are talking about the transitioning cream and the cocoa butter. Are there any other products that you all would recommend to a newcomer to Darcys Botanicals.
