this is a nice discount I might try this stuff out. I see that you guys are talking about the transitioning cream and the cocoa butter. Are there any other products that you all would recommend to a newcomer to Darcys Botanicals.
IntheMix08 If you're a newbie you have to try the Pumpkin Seed Conditioner. It is the most moisturizing DC for my 4CZ natural hair. It can be used as a pre-poo, DC (with or w/o steam) and leave-in. It's really a nice, versatile product! I also like their cleansing conditioner.

greenandchic i have the curl styling leave in. I like it. It's thick and smells nice. It's not a toothache type of sweet scent. I dunno how to describe it. I used it for my twist outs in the winter.

I got these:
Avocado & Wild Plum Twisting Cream - GLYCERIN FREE
2 bottles of the NEW Sweet Cocoa Bean Curl Smoothing Cream NHC -
NEW Shea Butter Curl Moisturizing Cream

I've had good success with the pumpkin spice, I'm on my 3rd bottle, so I hope these work just as well

I bought: the curl styling (leave in) cream, herbal leave-in conditioning spritz, cocoa bean curl smoothing cream, juicy peach kernel nectar and the pumpkin seed curl moisturizing conditioner. I'm excited, this will be my first time trying Darcy products! :yep:

Shea Butter Curl Moisturizing Cream,Peach Kernel (Natural Curls) Hydrating Milk, Avocado & Honey Twisting Cream,,Madagascar Vanilla Styling Creme,Daily Leave-In Conditioner Juicy Peach, Sweet Cocoa Bean Curl Smoothing Cream......i think.

me neither...but I ordered about two weeks ago and I didn't receive anything until after it was delivered.

I got my shipping notice and tracking number last Wednesday but it wasn't actually mailed until Friday :perplexed

It's out for delivery now though.

She always does that.....annoying. I got mine today and she added a nice size sample of a cocoa bean product

I got the cocoa bean sample too! I think the scent is okay. I just tried a small dab but it didn't seem overwhelming. Can't wait to try it out.

I know vendors send the tracking no. the day or evening before they actually mail the product at times. But two days is a bit much -- if that is the new procedure. Maybe she only goes to the PO on certain days?

I got my package and sample today too! Glad I didn't order the Sweet Cocoa Bean because its nice to try it out first. The tiny dab feels great on my curl, but I'm not going to use it until tonight when I wash my hair.

I am too sad! I dropped my spray in the bathroom and it broke right open! My tile must be super hard. Terrible. The bottom broke off in nearly a perfect circle. It was hanging on by a thread. I salvaged a tiny amt (less than 2 oz) that was still in the bottle and transferred it to another bottle.

Glad I ordered two then :/

So my sample is labeled as Sweet Cocoa Bean Moisturizing Balm. I assumed it was the Sweet Cocoa Bean Smoothing Cream, but my sample has different ingredients. I guess it's a new product. Which explains why the isn't strong like how ppl described the smoothing cream. I am liking it and the ingredients are simple (easy to understand) too:
h20, cocoa butter, sweet almond oil, ucuba butter, emulsifier, olive oil, honey, palm oil, candelilla wax, cetyl esters, panthenol, preservative, cellulose gum, vanilla and coffee extract

No idea what the 'preservative' is tho...

I got my package yesterday and have the same sample. You're right, it's not as strong... I was disappointed about that haha. I like how it's "whipped" though.

Does candelilla wax cause build up? It's listed as an ingredient in the Sweet Cocoa Bean Moisturizing Balm sample.

Okay, from DB's Facebook page:
"Hello! We mistakenly put the"Balm" text on the New Sweet Cocoa Bean Moisturizing Hair Whip label and have since corrected it! Sorry for any confusion. :) Look out for a new balm coming soon!!"

So we received the Whip sample. They have a new balm coming soon -- in the same Sweet Cocoa Bean line iirc. The sample definitely has a whipped texture.

OT, Ladies please how do you use the lemongrass transitioning creme. I am relaxed and I have used it as a moisturiser...its so so? I prefer the Oyin Hair dew. Any suggestions on how best to use it for a relaxed haed.

Thanks
