That twisted pony. That bun. That pony. That bun drop. That hair. :thud:

That was truly awesome!

When I first joined, there was a member whose daughter had a similar skin tone and very similar hair. It was knee length, then. I wonder if that's the same girl?

Or maybe it was another hair board...

Anywho, Thanks for the link, OP!

Wowza...I am beyond impressed. I would love for my hair to be this long. I wonder how long it took to grow out!

That's member/former member Finally Free's daughter if I remember correctly. Folks went hard about her using vaseline, and still she had all of that beautiful hair. Well she has even more now.

Any reason why she disabled comments and ratings? If you don't want feedback, why make the images public?

Wow. Really? I lurked for a loooonnggg time and some of the stuff I've read...:nono:.

Well, I now use Softee Shea Butter grease and my hair is thriving like never before, unlike when I strictly used coconut oil, organic vegetable shortening and Unpetroleum Jelly to seal my ends. My hair stayed thirsty and dry. Now, it's moisturized for days! Now I'm thinking of using straight vaseline because it's cheaper and adding some olive or coconut oil to it to use them up and save money !

What's one person's trash is another person's treasure. Obviously, using vaseline works for this woman, Chicoro and countless others. If you love what you love, there's no need to go hard at someone for loving something different...anyway, her hair is :lick: and she inspired me to keep hope alive!

Her hair is GORGEOUS! Lol but yeah I'll take half of that. Anyone know how long her hair journey was? Or her current routine?

I don't see what would be wrong with using vaseline...Me and my kids have sensitive skin with eczema, and the dermatologist stresses to use vaseline to seal the moisture/meds in...and since hair is in the same family with skin, i'm sure it will work for the hair also...
