I plan on washing with Design Essentials Moisture retention shampoo

DCing with Hyrdatherma Naturals Moisture boosting conditioner
Air drying with KBB sweet ambrosia
Caruso roller set
Silk wrap

This will be my first time using the caruso rollers, so I hope it turns out good!

I'm on a 2 week hiatus between braids that I took down last week and was gonna rebraid this week but decided to give my hair a short break.

Have satin rollers in my hair right now :D to look presentable at the grocery store in an hour.

Will DC overnight on dry hair (wanna try that out after reading the thread about it). DC will be without heat with the Joico Moisture Recovery Balm that I just bought due to me lurking on a thread about Joico! No heat because I'm out of town and I left my beloved soft hooded dryer at home. So DC tonight, and shampoo in the morning. Will air dry in a pony and continue using my satin rollers during the week that are SO easy to sleep in.

I fell in love with those and never turned back  Great for morning rush and your hair is ready in ten minutes with a nice bump.

8th - Nothing but moisturizing
9th - More moisture
10th - Co wash, using kimmaytube leave in for the first time, and bunning.

I may experiment with my hair a little like try to do a braidout and getting to know my new growth.

Just braided it for the night and smothered it in my Shea butter mix.
Steam tomorrow.
Sunday, wash, DC, oil and braid for the night.

The usual weekly routine for spring this year.
Cleanse with WEN
Airdry
Apply sulfur oil mix to scalp and moisturize
Cornrow
Slap on half wig

Im thinking of shaving my hair off..really..and start over on this hair journey..

GoddessMaker wow really...you wanna go that extreme? I saw in other threads you weren't very happy with your natural hair. Why shave it all off just to relax it anyway? Don't lose the length you have. Baby your hair now and then relax it later. If not, this cycle of being unhappy with your hair will just continue.

NikkiQ Im going to really try not to.Im so tired of the lack of length, thickness when Im doing all the right things to it.Co washing,dc,moisture 2 times a day sealing ps with cornrows and wigs..Im going to keep away from my step fathers clippers.

8th - Already moisturized/sealed, now baggying. Since the dh and I are govt workers, I'mma sit by the tv to see whether we will be furloughed (temporarily unemployed).

9th - Regroup from whatever resulted from the job. Moisturize/Seal.

10th - Okay, now's here the routine:
Prepoo with steam (20mins)
Shampoo
DC
Air dry most likely but will ponytail roller set if time permits

Since tomorrow is springfest at my school i will be flat ironing it in the morning, i DC'd tonight and will probably will bun sunday and cowash monday :)

No NO NO NO Noooo!!! I don't know your whole situation, obviously so this is just my opinion. Don't do this, if you're frustrated get some braids or at least some corn rows. I saw your comment about thickness and length, I have the same problem as far as having fine hair that's not thick, so I joined the "Fine haired ladies" thread. I've gotten some really good info on there like using protein treatments and different styling options. When you are frustrated with your hair, PLEASE don't cut it in an emotional state. Really and truly the best thing to do when you are overwhelmed is give yourself a break. Braid it, weave it, cornrow it so you can forget about it for a while. Now if after you have calmed down for several weeks and you still want to cut it, then go ahead. But please please please Don't do this to yourself right now.

As soon as I get back from this party on Sunday morning, I am washing out my weave(grow protect solutions) and twisting my hair for the next week.

I'm gonna self relax tomorrow (for the first time!) with Phyto. I'm reading everything I can about Phyto and self relaxing in general. Wish me luck :)

Change of plans. I'm going to do a HOT tonight then co wash tomorrow. I gotta get a good HOT recipe.

GoddessMaker I agree. Don't know ur hair story. But if the issue is just that it is fine and not damaged beyond repair, cutting it won't change that, it will just come back in fine too. I had to come to realization that I have fine strands too. I just work w/what I have and try to come up with techniques and styles that work for instead of against my natural fine hair.

I'm determined to master a salon quality blowdry/flat iron at home. Since I don't want to put heat on my entire head on a regular basis, I will be practicing on my leave out hair (I wear half wigs) about once a month or so.

The last time I got my hair flat ironed at the salon they used a lot of Joico products and the results were amazing. So I ordered some products from the Joico Moisture Recovery Line (the shampoo, conditioner, and balm) and will experiment with that later on today or tomorrow. I'm super excited and have a really good feeling about this product line.

Imani it just not fine it doesn't seem to move a inch.I felt that since I joined this site I have been armed with so much info maybe a fresh start would help me get better results, since trying to mend my hair is not showing much return.I know I want my natural hair to be as healthy as possible by Aug so I can have a decent shot as a relaxed lady.

I got my first wig.. It's a human wig .. It looks like I got a weave done.. But I'll post pics of it... eager to try the.. low low.. manipulation routine
