SO doesn't bother me about hair unless it's time to do his, he needs a damn scrunchie, or he want's to see my hair in a particular style... Other then that he's pays it no mind.

no man is worth a set back! lmao

they either get on board or get with a white girl!!! shoot, even white boys dont mind lmao

My husband is so used to me and -wait a minute- let me rephrase that...

My husband is so TIRED and BORED about my hair that he will pick up the phone and tell me to call my girlfriends if I even look like I'm about to talk "hair" to him.

I have gone to bed looking...oompf
and he does not care at all. But let me flatiron something...then he's all over it.

When a white man can talk hair to the sisters at his job and recommend products for them, I know I've done too much , lol.

my husband actually helps me with my regimen; reminds me of when I have to do certain treatments, he applies them for sometimes, helps me with blow drying and does my trims. I'm very blessed. He actually doesn't mind doing since he says that he feels as if he is contributing to my beauty.

Truth that sounds like my SO. The only thing he really bothers me about is my hair purchases but i've cut back on them :look:

When I had a SO I felt like my hair was suffering when he was around in terms of me DC'ing (although I did do a henna when he was over and I had to hear him complain about it...)...I also went out more with him which = more drinking/eating crappy food. Oh, and stress. One month my hair only grew .25 inches and I was HEATED. I'd be lying if I said it wasn't a factor in my decision to end our relationship. Shrug.

My DH has come a long way in my journey...he's gone from not caring at all about my hair, to reminding me to wash out my henna when I fall asleep (true story- just happened an hour ago :lachen:).

I was a WEAVE QUEEN for years, actually for the entire 15 years of our relationship. Between the weave and braids, he's always intuitively known to keep his hands off my hair lol. Well, since my fro's starting to get some size on it, I've noticed him "touching" my hair regularly, far more than he has during the entire course of our relationship. *shrug* I guess that means he likes it :)

Earlier in my HJ I definitely slacked off on my regimen. I don't as much anymore. However, I do make sure that my hair is done before we are supposed to spend time together and will alter my styles for him, including straightening it. I don't see it as a big deal. He is the love of my life and this is just hair. Plus, I like the versatility of my hair.

He is fairly supportive of my HJ as he loves long hair. Also, he reaps some of the benefits. He has MBL locs that I take care of and took care of before I cared for my own hair. It does get a little tiring now dealing with both of our heads. I dread the day we add kids into the mix.

My SO does not complain at all. He has encouraged my HHJ. He likes to wash my hair. And he gives great head massages. He does not mind what I wear on or in my hair when we're sleeping together.

Yah, I got it like that.

This thread is hilarious. My SO complains about my baggying and calls
me "The bag-lady". He hates weaves though, so when he bugs me I say
its this or the weave! lol

My hubby is very supportive of my HJ when he saw me for the first time with my thermal head wrap he said you always got something for your hair and laughs. This is my third time being natural but in the past we've celebrated my one year natural anniversary and he insisted on getting me a cake I thought that was cute. I think the only time he complained was when I used henna he said it looked like poop but as far as everything else goes he knows that my hair is my hobby and he respects it.
