Uh oh, grabbing popcorn, *be right back*
But for real, I probably will never acv rinse again-- I think it contributed to drying my hair out- and the resulting breakage- esp. the crown

yes...yes! umma need Braiders to stop advising innocent bystanders to buy bottles of pump-it-up and keep there braids sprayed down to keep them from enravelingI'd say spritz from back in the day too. It would make my hair dry and crispy, a great set up for breakage.
Asides from that, I don't know if any ONE products was the main culprit; I'd attribute my breakage to technique and overuse of appliances (i.e. not moisturizing/washing, flat ironing too much, incorrect use of relaxer, etc)
Sun-In and Aqua Net hairspray when I was in my early teens. I had the orange bangs that I would tease to the extreme, and then I would shower them with AquaNet...... blowdry...... and spray on some more AquaNet....... Those were the days.![]()
A product called perm repair. That stuff was horrible.
Yes I used this towards the beginning of my hair journey and my hair was shedding something awful..

i used this over 2 years ago while i was early into my transitionmy hair was DRY DRY DRY BRITTLE TANGLED MESS just thinking about it still upsets me
detangling my hair was HELL ON EARTH! big wads of hair coming out....
Sun-in, jam, any gel, all holding spray and spritz, all products with alot of alcohol, relaxers, Nioxin shampoo.
Before I knew anything about anything, I used to used JAM and it dried my hair out.... It took almost 2 weeks to get my hair back to to normal.![]()
