They say relaxed hair should be considered damaged

<font color="brown">Here is some info that I have about hair damage:

Hair is considered Damaged if:
•Hair was treated chemically with Thioglycolate straightener.
•Hair was exposed to ultra violet or swimming pool water.
•Hair was colored up to three times.

Hair is considered Super Damaged if:
•Hair was bleached just once.
•Hair was relaxed with Sodium Hydroxide, Potassium Hydroxide, Lithium Hydroxide or Guanidine Carbonate relaxer base, even once.

Keep in mind that these categories are probably based on laboratory observations of the molecular hair structure which may not actually be visible to the naked eye. To the naked eye, relaxed or colored hair will still have a healthy appearance (unless overprocessed), ESPECIALLY if it is well cared for.

Excellent explanation...

I have been treating my transitioning hair with kid gloves from the beginning...your explanation seals it for me why I should continue it.

Thanks.
