*when you've copied and pasted the smilies in emails because the smilies in gmail are simply inadequate. btw, my favorite and most often used smilie would have to be .

*when you no longer feel compelled to co-sign with other members and compliment a poster's length progress when the OP is clearly in need of a 5 inch trim.

I'll say you've been on LHCF too long when you either know how a thread is going to go just by the title (relaxed v. natural, heat training, talking about someone else's hair, etc) and when the "gates" no longer offend you...you just get some popcorn and refresh the page.
