Her hair is really pretty!!! For a second there I thought you were talking about a member here with that name
 
She is probably the first and only person I have seen in many years who has a curl bang. Most just straighten that area.

Right. My hair is similar to hers and I've been debating a bang. I couldn't visualize how it would look with my shrunken hair.

The slide show of her hair over the years is really nice.

I had a natural hair bang a while back & I could NOT handle that ish :lol:

If you're a person who needs your hairstyle to look perfect, slick, every hair in place I'd advice you to not get it. That ish would fly everywhere. Then I began to straighten it ALL the time, and suffered from breakage. :nono:

GORGEOUS hair. Very healthy, beautiful curls/coils. What do you guys think her hair type is?

I literally was on her blog for over an hour lol. I rarely do that on blogs focused on hair types that are vastly different from my own (nothing personal, it's just hard for me to pull styles and techniques from those with looser textures), but I definitely made an exception for her lol. Gorgeous. Thanks Poohbear!

I would say Type 3c/4a. She also mentioned using EcoStyler gel for her wash and gos.

I also looked through all of her pages at her various hairstyles too. :grin:

I seen her at The Park in DC and thought how pretty and thick her hair was. I wanted to ask her what products she used, but decided not to.

I secretly wish I could gather the courage to cut off all my hair to rock a wng like this!

Love her hair!
The fact that she went to the salon to get it shaped was awesome...it was refreshing to find someone not so focused on length but doing whatever style suits her!

I would love to get my hair cut into that shape. I just don't trust any stylist to cut my hair. It shrinks way more than hers and I don't have as much volume as her. But does anyone know if there is a certain name for this type of hair cut shape???
