Definitely that too - I already posted on that. It pisses me off though that at the same time they wanted to call out LHCF when saying such a disgusting thing. That's why I am always seeing stuff about how crazy "we" are...because there are a select few sickos doing mess like that. Smh.
 
Calling her son retarded or even bringing him up in the first place was uncalled for. Evidently somebody doesn't have a life.

And for the record to whoever made that lhcf comment, all of us don't hate kimmaytube. There are a ton of folks on here that are her subscribers, use her conditioner, think she is the bomb.com, continuously pump up her videos, etc., etc. They didn't need to put lhcf on blast like that. Tryin' to make us sound like a bunch of haters.
 
I just can't. The video was silly... I'll just leave it at that. I can't understand why people must be so mean on YT. What gives? It has gotten so bad that some folks won't even allow comments on their vids anymore. :perplexed

WOW, I didnt know that Taren has a son and that her son has a disability. I am a big advocate for people with disabilities and I cannot believe there is such hate in people. That was really mean and I too wish I hadn't read that.
I am hurt for her, I cannot imagine how people can take hair that far. That was hate!!!!:nono:

she has 2 boys and a girl...she said both her sons were autistic, but one doesnt really have the symptoms anymore... i dont understand how you could say something so horrible about someone you dont even know outside of the internet/youtube...even if i did know her i would never bring anyone's kids into any dispute, esp. over something so trivial as hair... thats just uncalled for...but by the tone of the comments, i think the poster was young (late teens, maybe very early 20s) and immature.
 
I don't think she is alone in her thinking in regards to straight hair = glam. It took me sometime to get past that mindset but since I prefer my low maintenance kinks I just had to get over it. Those comments were too muchy lol.
 
oh and for the straight=glam...i'm not defending her but i dont think she meant natural hair isnt glam, but for someone who wear's their hair curly most of the time, straight hair is a deviation from her everyday look...when i was relaxed i wore my hair straight 95% of the time, so for special occasions i used to like curly rollersets or curls with the curling iron...i didnt think one hairstyle was better than the other, but it was just something different than my everyday look.

and if she knows all she has to do is wrap it a night and unwrap it in the morning, and she didnt plan on swimming, then i could see how straight hair would be easier rather than washing/cowashing, detangling, applying product, diffusing or waiting mad long for it to air dry for a style that might only last 2 days before she has to do it all over again, while straight hair would last longer, and even if it started to poof she could put it in a bun or ponytail.
 
I cannot believe some of those comments. As a mother, my heart is BREAKING right now for her. I can't stand a faceless, cowardly bully.

I wouldn't even be mad at her doing a video response. Matter of fact, TAREN- in case you're reading this......yes, I did give you a little bit of shade for taking straight her to the beach, but if you need a ride-or-die chick to get it started, PM me. I gotchu.

She did say it was dry, and I had the same point as you when she first said that. Then I checked the dew point in Cabo, and it's 59...definitely not dry, and definitely not optimal for wearing straight hair.

Actually...I never said she was lying, and I don't think she was. People often think places likes Mexico and SoCal are dry but they usually aren't (I live in SoCal by the water and our dews go up to the 70s, it's only the desert areas that are really dry). Someone else was talking about their hair reverting on NYE by the beach so I checked it. It takes 2 minutes. Whatever.
 
I would really like to become more active on youtube, but stuff like this makes me not want to. Bring up her son was beyond dirty.

i agree. some weaves protective styling could help her to grow out her heat damage without her feeling tempted to flatiron her own curls daily. ♥
 
I'm not natural...but I love all types of hair and when people post vids, I usually watch.

I'm not a fan of Taren, her hair is gorg though!

She comes off like " look at me..look at me!! "

At the same time...I'm not going to waste my time and energy on saying nasty things about her...because I don't care enough to do so...LOL

What I enjoy I watch, what I don't...I don't...but those comments about her kids.

I mean innocent kids...that was just beyond low.

^^^^ditto that was in poor taste. It's just hair, but more importantly it's her hair. She can do whatever the heck she wants to do with it. She's the only person who has to deal with the aftermath, everyone else just watches.

I think somethings we...or shoot ..Isay may rub some folks the wrong way but I and majority of other ladies never do it to be condescending or snide. Sorry hun you are.
