Okay, so I decided to wear my 'fro to work today for the first time!

I haven't been at this job for very long so I was a little nervous about how people would react. Turns out I shouldn't have thought anything of it because a couple of people actually said they liked it! Personally, I wasn't sure how I felt about it myself, but it was nice letting my hair be FREE for a day! :grin:

And just to compare, the last time I wore my hair like this, I was about six months post BC.

Now, 10 months post BC, my hair is practically eating the headband! :lol:

I've still got a LOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGGG way to go before I get to that BAA I've been dreaming of, but I'm extremely happy with the progress I've made so far! :grin:
 
Looks good. You should have stuck the pick with the black fist on it in your fro. That would have really got them talking.:grin:
 
Gorgeous! I hate when people want to play in my hair but I totally want to touch yours. It's so lush!!!
 
Your hair looks really cute on you. Congrats! on being free. I know the feeling...it took me 3 yrs to stop wearing my wigs before I started wearing my natural hair. Funny because I got more compliments with the natural look.

I really, really like it. I take my nubian twists out next month and I can't wait to see my progress.

Very motivational!

Thanks! And no, I'm not actually a nurse. I'm a CMA. (Certified Medical Assistant) I work in a small nephrology practice! :yep:
 
Nice!!!!! I've been wearing my puff (see av) every day for about a week. It's either this or braid outs, and since I'm trying to keep it moist for winter, Afro puff it is!
 
I have seen your pics before in your siggy. You have made some great progress. You will have your BAA in probably another few months. I love seeing progress!
 
I'm jealous of your fro. It's so nice looking and big. Mine is so teeny weeny.

Keep up the good work. Your hair is definitely growing.

I've mentioned this before, but I was not sure I would be welcomed as a member of this forum, (considering its name) but I could not have been more wrong! I have never received more compliments and positive remarks on my hair until I found this forum!

You have no idea how great that makes me feel!

@SkysMommy, don't worry! Just keep taking care of your hair and you'll be surprised at how fast it'll grow! SERIOUSLY! I remember my TWA like it was yesterday!
