Hello everyone! My name is Kagrra01. After two years of being a lurker (I kno I'm stingy w/ my money lol) I've finally decided to pay that 6.50. What prompted me the most was the success of my first press on natural hair and to thank the ppl who recommended Charlene of the Houston area. She did a fabulous job and I'm pretty amazed at how long it's grown since I BC'd last April.

Here are the pictures and I hope to continue to learn lots from here!

Ok I'm on a different computer now so hopefully these photos will upload.

These were taken during my birthday weekend and I had a blast!! :)
I hope to keep this press in for at least 2 weeks.

Welcome!!! And where is this Charlene of whom you speak located in Houston? :lol: She did an excellent job! I haven't been able to find anyone out here to press me :crying3:

She is located at the upper Kirby/Bissonet area. Here's her website it has where you can book online and her address and everything: Culture Salon - Beauty Salon and hair salon - Houston, Texas

She's really good, and I was talking to another client there who had gone for her for years and she swears by Charlene. She told me she once went to someone else for a press when Charlene was out of town and they burnt her hair out :(

It came out to be a little over $100 but I think it was worth it cause it was my first time and I wanted to go to the best and someone who knew what they were doing :) I would probably only do it for really special occasions at that price. It's originally $115 but I got a %10 or %15 (can't remember which one) discount for booking online.
