Thanks this place is located in my city. I think this is the place that my mom use to take us when I was younger to get hair accessories and stuff for cheap
 
Wow she took it down? I wonder why. I was just about to order some hair accessories for my daughter from there. My daughter loses barrettes like it's her job and I've been looking for a place to buy barrettes and ponytail holders in bulk for a minute. That $100 limit is holding me back though. I'm really curious why she took the vid down
 
I have been meaning to start a thread. Even with me picking out 6 wigs I still need someone else to order with me. Any NYC ladies want to go in on a bulk order?
 
I can only guess that the the company was overwhelmed at the volume of orders. It's tax season so they are probably getting an insane amount of on-line orders versus their normal February orders.

Too bad I'm not in NYC cause I would sooo order with you. I might have to order $100 worth of beads and ponytail holders I'm trying to figure out if I should do it or not. Maybe I'll get a wig or two. Someone posted this on her youtube page:

^^^So if the minimum order is $100, they made at least $50,000 in two days alone! Yeah, they owe April BIG time!
 
Yall know since its so many of us, we can work out deals with these people. We just have to get so many women to commit to a buy so we can get bulk deal discounts
 
They owe LHBoutique a cut too because the wigs on that site look a HOT MESS. If LHB did not style and photograph the wigs, there is no way anyone would be buying them.

April posted about why she took the video down. Apparently some other vendor got upset and threatened to get her channel shut down because she was "taking money" away from that vendor by mentioning Rockey Trading.

I do tend to agree with the comment under the video that it was likely LHB since their prices for some of the same $19.95 lace front wigs on Rockey are $70 - $80 on LHB. Not to say it could not have been blackhairspray, hairsisters or clairhair or some other vendor but my money would be on LHB if I had to bet.

Btw I think that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. I mean like how dare they. Do they really think people will patronize them now when they are depriving us of a good deal. Their mark up is also ridiculous?

And how are they allowed to blackmail April like that she is just a regular Youtuber... Just goes to show that the vendors are watching Youtubers and controlling the market if they do not like what they see.

I am glad that there was nothing wrong with www.rockeytrading.com but rather just a question of other vendor jealousy.

In which case I will be ordering a few half wigs and lacefront pretty soon.

I think we should post our purchases in this thread also so that LHCF ladies can get a good deal sans the middle man...

So someone felt the need to inform the other wig site(s) that April made this video about Rocky Trading?? You can not be serious...folks get on my nerves trying to throw salt on other peoples game and can't mind their own freaking business!! Unbelievable...
 
I placed an order Thursday and it was delivered yesterday, but didn't get it until today. I ordered a couple of the Sensationnel(sp?) instant weaves( all curly), a phony bun, and the Champagne lacefront "sunny" wig. I really like all my items. Especially the "sunny". The curls are really pretty. I'm really happy about this purchase and I wasn't a wig person until recently.

:censored: it! I knew I should have ordered earlier. It's not the $200 (even though, maybe it should be :giggle:) it's trying to collect enough wigs to come out to $200. I need more wigs like I need another bottle of conditioner.

$200 minimum isn't too bad. I'm going to wait for the hype to die down a little before placing my order. Hopefully they'll catch up to processing orders by then.
