My uncle always used to say it's a federal offense to open someone else's mail...
If my husband is going to report me for opening his mail, we have some real deep issues. It is, if you do so without permission - even if you're married....
I don’t open my husband’s mail or packages unless he’s at work and asks me. I don’t want him opening my mail. It’s never occurred to me to open someone else’s mail.
UPS came today
I got a knife
saw it was from his job
remembered thread
put knife away left box on island
So when do we find out about this raise. I'm ready to pop bottles and celebrate!
then this man told his kid to open it
it was his 10yr clock

When I was a kid at home with my parents my father used to open everyone’s mail that came in the box including my Mothers. Remember back in those days there was no texting & emailing. Relatives far away and friends even your job or responders to applications often sent letters. He couldn’t even read that well. Just dang nosy, controlling and bossy. You could get a letter or something and be standing right there when he brought the mail in. He would still open it in your face and read it and then ask you, who , what where and why! His actions made me loathe that behavior.
It was an invasion of privacy and disrespectful to all of us at the time. When I got married I never started opening my husbands mail because of that. He gets many pkgs. I’m a sahw now so I take in all the mail and pkgs but it’s always waiting for him unopened when he gets home. He doesn’t open mine either.
My Niece sends her mail to my house too. It can be waiting for her for weeks unopened. If it looks like she has something important I call her and let her know and she’ll tell me if she wants me to open it.
That’s just my personal experience.
Now I'm curious. What's that.
See you opened Pandora's box! LOL
10 yrs on the job he got a clock a funky ugly clock. A gift certificate for the entire family to go to dinner would have been more helpful
I had an ex who got an important government form delivered to my job; I didn't open it. But I knew what it was.Don't open other people's mail. I don't care what it's about. Let him do it or ask him first.
